World anti-weird measures

i don't know if it's the right section or the right prefix but what happened to the rule against the meowing kids in shouts and in discord? apparently something happened with it somewhat recently but going back on the enforcement of this just shows a bad side of wynn to absolutely anyone who would freshly join

edit: this includes any other peculiar suggestive form of behavior

i believe the rule is primarily to stop people from selling things such as body pics for LE, or joking about such things, or being explicitly sexual in a PG-13 environment. Saying things such as "meow" in shouts or on discord is ultimately harmless and doesn't need to be enforced.

 

Its not harmful but its cringe and should be enforced. It just looks weird seeing a weird "meow" or "nya" shout every 2 minutes.

 

just use ./ignore for shouts if you don't like it.

 

Man nobody wants to /ignore 50% of wynn just cuz they write "meow" or "nya". Just enforced

Just because something is "cringe" does not mean it should be moderated. It's a waste of time and effort for moderators, and feels like something only a 12 year old should find reasonable.

 

Man ever heared of an auto moderator where you can ban words?

 

It's still childish to filter the word "meow" purely because you consider it cringe

 

Its not only cringe, its also not good for the server image imo.
For example when you join the first time on your own without an invite from a friend, it looks very weird and you (imo) ask why the heck are these ppl writing "meow", "nya" every now and then. Until you just realise these people are just that weird

 

If seeing other people say "meow" makes you want to leave a game then you must be new to the internet because this type of behaviour can be found everywhere

 

No, I just talk to Gigachads (and actual sane people) like Triflame and not to randos like you and I am definitly not new to the internet.
I just don't talk to people that use "meow", "nya" seriously.

real talk though, I just want a cooldown for shouts, I don't care if it's 10 minutes or an hour it's just a bit much seeing people have discussions on there.

That being said, I think getting mad about cat noises is very funny. nya~

There are weird people on the internet everywhere. If them being in wynn dissuades people from being in wynn, then almost nobody would do anything online.

Freedom of speech? Freedom of expression? Just because you think something is cringe and some other people think it's cringe doesn't mean you have to stop these people from saying what they want.
Also, I play wynn a lot and it does not happen every 2 minutes. maybe 3 per hour.

Logic does not add up. You don't want to talk to people that say "meow", but you don't want to ignore them either?
