I played wynncraft after being asked to as a joke by a skyblock player. I am lvl 61 on my main.

How hard is the no scamming rule enforced? I am curious because I might get scammed. In skyblock, the rule is basically there to fill up empty space.

In the wynncraft "irl-trading" scene, what is the average exchange rate? I am NOT intending on ever trading irl money for wynncraft, I am just curious.

At what stage of the game will professions useful?

What in all of earth is a lootrun? I am scared because I saw there was a lootrun video that took an entire HOUR. That person also used the "escape" ability paired with the "arrow shield" ability, and was jumping around like soldier tf2.

Is it normal for people to constantly check the wiki to know what to do in every quest?

Should I regret picking assassin as my first class?

What are some wynncraft inside jokes I need the context to?

From personal experience along having played on this server for about seven years now, scamming occurrences are almost... nonexistient. Or at least to the point where I don't actually remember the last time a transactional scam was mentioned in the slightest. Which really astounds me, Wynncraft is probably the only community I know where people have no problem lending valuable items to players that they barely know. It's a pretty damn nice community most of the time.

Perhaps something that greatly contributes to this is the Trade Market, a place where players can put up their items to sell with players across the server being able to see everything. With all the important details laid out for each sold item I would say it’s pretty hard to get scammed via that method.

On the other hand, exchanging IRL items (e.g. money) for in-game Wynncraft items is in fact actually not allowed. I do believe the server rules state this somewhere, but you'll have to check.

Technically, every stage. Professions allow the player to create their own gear, weapons and consumables whose potential can be much more powerful than most items you find in the wild (AKA non-crafteds). However, professions is incredibly grindy, and requires hours and hours of grinding should you choose to level them up to endgame.

Professions are more meant for players who enjoy this kind of grinding, and they are rewarded somewhat greatly for it.

Don't worry, though, professions are not needed for you to get the full game experience, as you can still buy crafted items from players with substantial amounts of emeralds, or gather the ingredients yourself and ask players to craft the gear for you. They usually always do it for free, no strings attached.

Professions are a fully optional aspect of Wynncraft's main gameplay, and players usually like to just level up to endgame (level 100+) and THEN start on professions after. Again, it's purely on preference whether you even want to dabble in that at all, but I would say check it out a little and see if that type of grinding is something you might find bearable.

Depends. The historical method of Lootrunning before the current update a couple weeks ago involves players running around a pre-determined path and just... opening chests. Loot Chests in caves, mostly, they gave pretty good stuff.

With a aforementioned new update released a few weeks ago, Lootrunning is an official part of Wynncraft now. The player can go to any one of the lootrun camps and start a "Lootrun", where players are given different challenges across the world that they have to run to and complete them before their timer runs out, being rewarded for the more challenges they complete and the faster they do them.

The only lootrun camps are currently encompassing Corkus and the Silent Expanse, which I assume is still too high-level for your current position in the game's progression. I would say you don't need to worry too much about Lootrunning yet.

The newer quests are getting more refined and player-friendly so as to make sure that players don't easily get lost in a quest. Outside of puzzle solutions, if a quest requires you to constantly check the wiki even with the help of in-game dialogue helping you, the quest probably needs further tweaking to improve its design.

No. There isn't a best class, anyone who recommends a specific one to new players are doing so completely based on personal bias. Pick whatever you find interesting and fun and enjoy Wynncraft from there.

You can always create a new class via the /class menu that you can play on temporarily if you ever want to switch classes for awhile. All classes you create can be switched between each other at any time using the above menu.

No specific ones to be honest, I'm sure if you ask about it someone will find no problems in explaining it to you.

They are really strong at any stage of the game, especially the first few levels have recipes which allow you to deal hundreds of damage per melee hit at a level less than 5 and are really strong endgame, I would however recommend only leveling them until you have 300 total levels for the tome slot and only level afterwards if you really want to
The Lootruns in the new update can take between 15 minutes for a small one and a few hours for a really good one, but they only really get worth doing once you are above lvl 100 so don’t worry about that right now
Sometimes the instructions of a quest are a little unclear and I’m a little lazy regarding puzzles too so for me it is normal
There are no specific jokes you have to understand, but being a little familiar with the lore helps when understanding some memes you might encounter in the discord. Otherwise you should get familiar with the short forms used for certain content or items, like LI for legendary island EO for Eldritch Outlook, tna for the nameless anomaly, strati for stratiformis, Nulli for nullification and much more. It just helps with communication in parties.
One kind of joke you should now is that the community decided to call the boss of the nameless anomaly raid (level 103+) Greg

Okay, why have you not read the rules. In order to play you have to read the rules. If you do not follow the rules, you will be punished.
Trading In-game emeralds (zhight money, or any item) for real life money is strictly not allowed.

Game & Forum Rules | Wynncraft Forums
    See Rule 12
"12. Do not buy or sell in-game items for real money.

Using real life money, or something worth real life money, to purchase an in-game item from another player. This includes selling/buying Wynncraft store items for items in-game or selling art or services for real money using our platforms. Breaking this rule directly breaks the EULA, which will never be tolerated, and which will be punished for, accordingly."

I understand the rule exists, I just have curiousity on the subject on wynncraft. I am just curious on how it would work on wynncraft. I stated that I wouldn't do it.

If you /class or leave the server the timer completely stops, you can take as long as a break as you want
