    Hey! Hope you're all having a good evening (or morning/day/whenever you read this) c:

    This thread is just going to be a simple way to keep track of the changes to the ability tree over time, similar to the item team patch notes thread. Most of the time, this thread will maintain parity with the live server, and upcoming changes can be read in the main update threads posted in the News & Patches subforum. However, in certain circumstances this thread will have more up to date information on upcoming changes, namely when a Hero Beta is active.

    This is something I should have definitely made earlier, but I'm still learning and I appreciate you all bearing with me as I try and improve at this position.

    Please let me know if this format is good or should be changed in any way!

    General
    Altered the colours of various nodes
    Added missing information to various ability descriptions

    Mage
    Added a new boss bar to help track Ophanim health and healing percentage over 10s
    Ophanim can now trigger Burning Sigil
    Arcane Transfer can now trigger Sunshower
    Arcane Restoration now connects to Stronger Ophanim
    Increased Diffusion’s radius (6 -> 8 blocks)
    Adjusted element conversions for the following abilities:
    -Meteor (Neutral: 300 -> 330%, Earth: 100 -> 70%)
    -Stronger Meteor (Neutral: 30 -> +90%, Earth: 90 -> +30%)
    -Burning Sigil (Neutral: 15 -> 25%, Fire: 25 -> 15%)
    -Wind Slash (Neutral: 50 -> 75%, Air: 50 -> 25%)
    -Ophanim (Neutral: 60 -> 90%, Thunder: 30 -> 15%, Water: 30 -> 15%)
    -Breathless w/ Meteor (Neutral: 21 -> +25%, Earth: 9 -> +5%)
    -Breathless w/ Thunderstorm (Neutral: 7 -> +8%, Earth: 3 -> +2%)
    -Explosive Entrance (Neutral: 50 -> 60%, Fire: 30 -> 20%)

    Archer
    Rebuilt the entire Archer Ability Tree from the ground up to swap the positions of the Sharpshooter and Trapper archetypes
    Added 7 new abilities:
    -Phasing Beam
    -Coursing Restraints
    -Recycling
    -Ivyroot Mamba
    -Murder Flock
    -Beast Lore
    -Cheaper Arrow Shield 2
    Fixed an issue where Guardian Angels would continue attacking enemies that had left its effective range
    Fixed an issue where the Sorcery Major ID would stack multiple copies of Guardian Angels on top of each other
    Reduced Grappling Hook’s travel time (6 -> 4 ticks)
    Increased Minefield’s Trapper archetype requirement (10 -> 11)
    Reduced Arrow Bomb’s recoil damage (25 -> 10%)
    Rocket Jump now reduces Arrow Bomb’s recoil by -9%
    Increased Rocket Jump’s radius (4.2 -> 5 blocks)
    Increased Snow Storm’s radius (2.5 -> 3 blocks)
    Reduced the ability point cost of Arrow Rain (2 -> 1)
    Reduced the ability point cost of Escape Artist (2 -> 1)
    Reduced Escape Artist’s total arrows (180 -> 100)
    Reduced the ability point cost of Grappling Hook (2 -> 1)
    Reduced Frenzy’s walk speed per hit (5 -> +3%)
    Reduced Frenzy’s walk speed cap (120 -> 70%)
    Reduced Frenzy’s walk speed decay (-20 -> -10% per second)
    Adjusted element conversions for the following abilities:
    -Basaltic Trap (Neutral: 190 -> 210%, Earth: 30 -> 20%, Fire: 30 -> 20%)
    -Nimble String (Neutral: -10 -> -5%, Thunder: 0 -> -5%)
    -Windstorm (Neutral: -10 -> -9%, Thunder: -2 -> -3%)
    -Arrow Hurricane (Thunder: -4 -> -1%, Air: 2 -> -1%)
    -More Shields (Neutral: -18 -> -13%, Air: 0 -> -5%)
    -Shocking Bomb (Neutral: 0 -> +20%, Thunder: 40 -> +20%)

    Warrior
    Adjusted the page 5 layout of the Warrior Ability Tree to allow the Paladin archetype access to Ragnarokkr, Comet, and Boiling Blood
    Added 2 new abilities:
    -Sacred Surge
    -Cleansing Breeze
    Fixed an issue where Iron Lungs would fail to buff Air Shout if it was unlocked first
    Fixed an issue where Provoke would sometimes fail to hold aggression for its full duration when provoked enemies were hit many times
    Renamed Ambidextrous to Riposte
    Removed Burning Heart
    Manachism is now an optional node between Aerodynamics and Provoke, and connects to Counter
    Increased Bash’s damage (Neutral: 130 -> 150%, Earth: 20 -> 30%)
    Increased Double Bash’s damage (Neutral: -50 -> -40%)
    Reduced the ability point cost of Flyby Jab (2 -> 1)
    Adjusted War Scream’s element conversion (Neutral: 50 -> 75%, Fire: 50 -> 25%)

    Assassin
    Fixed an issue where Smoke Bomb would clone Black Hole’s visuals when used with Echo unlocked
    Fixed an issue where Bamboozle’s element conversion ratio would change when used with Echo
    Updated Backstab’s particle effect to be easier to see in dark environments
    Reduced Satsujin’s Shadestepper archetype requirement (13 -> 12)
    Increased Dissolution’s damage reduction (40 -> +75%)
    Increased Backstab’s range (4 -> 5 blocks)
    Increased Nightcloak Knife’s duration (15 -> 40s)
    Reduced Nightcloak Knife’s damage per Mark (6 -> 4%)
    Reduced Weightless’ mana per hit (0.7 -> +0.35)
    Reduced Diversion’s overhealth bonus (15 -> +10%)
    Increased Diversion’s cooldown (6.5 -> 9s)
    Forbidden Art now reduces damage while clones are active by -10%

    Shaman
    Adjusted the page 4 layout of the Shaman Ability Tree to allow Cheaper Aura 1 to connect to Cheaper Uproot 1
    Added 3 new abilities:
    -Haunting Memory
    -Totemic Shatter
    -Chant of the Lunatic
    Seeking Totem is now active while wearing Mask of the Coward rather than Mask of the Fanatic
    Seeking Totem now follows the player rather than enemies
    Renamed Mask of the Awakened to Awakened
    Awakened now allows the player to swap masks while it is active
    Fixed an issue where Invigorating Wave would fail to restore mana to allies
    Increased Puppet Master’s damage (Neutral: 12 -> 16%, Earth: 3 -> 2%, Air: 3 -> 2%)
    Increased Crimson Effigy’s damage (Neutral: 55 -> 75%, Water: 30 -> 25%)
    Adjusted Exploding Puppets’ element conversion (Neutral: 100 -> 150%, Fire: 100 -> 50%)
    Increased Stagnation’s slowness debuff (30 -> +40%)
    Removed Mengdu
    Seeking Totem has been moved to Mengdu’s previous position
    Reduced the ability point cost of Seeking Totem (2 -> 1)
    Reversed the debuffs of the Ritualist archetype’s masks:
    -Mask of the Lunatic now reduces defence by -20%
    -Mask of the Fanatic now reduces walk speed by -35%
    -Mask of the Coward now reduces damage by -10%
    Increased Frog Dance’s damage (Neutral: 90 -> 110%, Water: 30 -> 40%)
    Increased Sacrificial Shrine’s healing (15 -> 25%)
    Rebound now reduces the healing of Sacrificial Shrine by 40%
    Increased Sacrificial Shrine’s healing duration (1 -> 8 ticks)
    Increased Stronger Tether’s damage (Neutral: 10 -> +15%)
    Archer
    Reduced Recycling’s mana per missed projectile (0.1 -> +0.08)
    Reduced Arrow Rain’s total arrows (200 -> 150)
    Mage
    Fixed an issue where Burning Sigil sometimes wasn’t working when used with Ophanim

    Archer
    Reduced Bryophyte Roots’ damage (Neutral: 40 -> 30%, Earth: 20 -> 10%)
    Reduced the ability point cost of Implosion (2 -> 1)
    Removed Bouncing Bomb’s Trapper archetype requirement
    Increased Call of the Hound’s attack rate (6 -> 5 ticks)
    Increased Call of the Hound’s movement speed (0.5 -> 0.7)
    Call of the Hound’s description now includes attack rate
    Increased Murder Flock’s movement speed (0.65 -> 0.8)
    Murder Flock’s description now includes attack rate
    Ivyroot Mamba’s duration display has been rewritten to “<player>’s Snake”
    Increased Shrapnel Bomb’s total projectiles (15 -> 30)
    Increased Crepuscular Ray’s damage (Neutral: 30 -> 35%)

    Warrior
    Fixed an issue where Sacred Surge didn’t work on players in pvp
    Added a new Stronger Sacred Surge node between Cheaper Bash 2 and Second Chance
    Increased Cleansing Breeze’s area of effect (2 -> 3 blocks)

    Assassin
    Fixed an issue where Dissolution had the incorrect duration
    Shenanigans and Psithurism now connect to each other
    Dissolution and Fatal Spin now connect to each other
    Reduced the ability point cost of Pirouette (2 -> 1)
    Increased Ricochets’ Acrobat archetype requirement (6 -> 8)
    Increased Ricochets’ shuriken bounces (1 -> 2)
    Removed Better Ricochets
    Added a new Better Weightless node below Jasmine Bloom

    Shaman
    Fixed an issue where a Mask attached to an enemy with Haunting Memory wouldn’t return to the player if the enemy was unloaded
    Fixed an issue where Haunting Memory prevented Awakened from functioning as expected
    Fixed an issue where Haunting Memory would crash the server when used
    Fixed an issue where Chant of the Lunatic would debuff allies
    Increased Haunting Memory’s damage (Neutral: 130 -> 240%)
    Increased Haunting Memory’s area of effect (1 -> 1.5 blocks)
    Reduced the ability point cost of Masquerade (2 -> 1)
    Removed Chant of the Coward’s Ritualist archetype requirement
    Reduced Chant of the Fanatic’s Ritualist archetype requirement (10 -> 9)
    Reduced Awakened’s Ritualist archetype requirement (12 -> 11)
    Reduced Awakened’s mana requirement (200 -> 150)
    Increased Awakened’s duration (20 -> 25s)
    Increased Nature’s Jolt’s damage (Neutral: 90 -> 110, Earth: 30 -> 40)
    Increased Nature’s Jolt’s area of effect (3.5 -> 4.5 blocks)
    Increased Frog Dance’s area of effect (3 -> 4.5 blocks)
    Increased Blood Sorrow’s damage (Neutral: 100 -> 130%, Water: 20 -> 30%)
    Blood Sorrow’s description now includes how it interacts with Haunting Memory
    Swapped the positions of Stronger Totem and Totemic Shatter
    Archer
    Fixed an issue where Ivyroot Mamba would cause the player to lose Focus
    (Reverted) Reduced Focus' damage boost per Focus (15 -> +12%)

    Warrior
    Fixed an issue where corrupted was failing to be charged by indirect damage sources (Blood Pact, fall damage, negative life steal, negative health regeneration)
    Fixed an issue where Sacred Surge was using the incorrect damage type
    Increased Sacred Surge’s Paladin archetype requirement (4 -> 5)
    Increased Sacred Surge’s percentage to activate (15 -> 20%)
    The following abilities now properly charge Sacred Surge:
    -Counter
    -Manachism
    -Sparkling Hope
    -Generalist
    -Cleansing Breeze
    -Mantle of the Bovemists (when taking damage)

    Shaman
    Fixed an issue where Sacrificial Shrine was healing twice as slow as intended
    Fixed an issue where Blood Connection allowed players to clip into the floor when Totem’s duration ran out
    Fixed an issue where Crimson Effigies could not be spawned when using Flaming Tongue
    Shaman
    Fixed an issue where Totemic Shatter failed to do damage
    Mage
    Fixed an issue where Burning Sigil sometimes wasn’t working when used with Ophanim
    Archer
    Swapped the positions of Initiator and Decimator

    Warrior
    Increased Sacred Surge’s percentage to activate (20 -> 25%)
    Fixed an issue where Sacred Surge failed to consume charge when triggered by Fireworks and Comet
    The following abilities now properly charge Sacred Surge:
    -Heavy Impact
    -Flyby Jab
    -Fireworks
    -Flying Kick
    -Rejuvenating Skin
    -Comet
    -Shield Strike
    -Collide
    -Armour Breaker
    -Massive Bash
    -Massacre
    -Blood Pact
    -Bakal's Grasp (when taking damage)

    all of the patches being on the same page is really nice. the separation is also very concise and easy to read.
