World Tutorial Baby Birds Deserve To Be Saved

Nearing the end of the tutorial, right before you enter the Ragni castle, you’re given a small area to explore. A lot of the details in the environment are really immersive and pretty, but there’s one that absolutely deserves more attention: The Fallen Baby Bird’s Nest.

They’re fairly easy to spot, as they’re just along the dirt path to the castle, but they’re just laying there. The poor things can’t get up and fly off, and that’s—IMO—cruel (by the players standards, even).

So, to remedy this, I genuinely believe that there should be an option to find a birds nest, or pick them up, and move them somewhere else. It doesn’t have to be anything complex, as even a text box saying they were moved is perfect, but something to tell us that they’re okay.

Those poor birds have been there for over 3 years now, and I feel it’s time they had the chance to get back into the nest.

I don't imagine this detail would even stay if the tutorial was made today. Id much rather have the effort that could be put into this being directed at changing the tutorial's builds to match the look of Fruma, as it is the outskirts of Fruma

 

I agree with the rest of the tutorial’s builds being remade to fit fruma better, but I disagree with the small area that’s right before the castle ever being changed. That area feels very Wynn and should be. And, because it deserves to stay the same, those baby birds on the road deserve justice.

I mean, just imagine it: You’ve finished the tutorial, fought that sorcerer thing that stole a guard, and are finally about to reach the gate to the castle. But, you want to explore the world a bit more, and because you explored, you find a nest of baby birds that fell. Just to add even that little bit more immersion, you can right click the birds to have them placed back in the tree. It’d be so cute, and solidify one of the greatest aspects of Wynn: discovering your own secrets and making a completely unique journey.

Move them out of the way more, have them be hidden, whatever needs to be done to make this happen. Please oh please oh pleeeeease.

 

I agree with changing how the tutorial looks, but like 75% of the tutorial is in Wynn. Part of the beauty of Wynncraft is the small details and structures, and I think the little bit of time it would take to just give a little dialogue or something is well worth it for the overall experience of Wynn.
