/fixquests extra items

hey,
something has bugged me for a long time, so whenever me and my friends need to try /fixquests, it always gives us items that we already have and are in our ender chests. For example, i have 8 yahya's stained bowls in my enderchest currently and would absolutely love to only be able to own one or even just be able to get rid of the exess ones.

You can get rid of the extra ones by filling up every inventory slot with items (emeralds are the easiest) so you are dragging the quest item around with your mouse and then closing the inventory

 

I think this is less a bug and more a lack of attention being applied to the "/fixquests" feature. If you've started Order of the Grook it's so much worse, as you get like 5 different useless items (I believe it's depending on what classes you were taking) from a quest you've already done. This really needs to get cleaned up, although ideally that would mean changing quest items entirely to something that doesn't use up inventory space.
