    Out of all the dungeons, Ice barrows is probably the least fun for me (change my mind), and i think it needs a rework. The rooms are annoying and the boss is ok but nothing special. It doesn't feel as fun as the rest of the dungeons. (corrupted too)

    Hey didnt ice spikes form in the boss fight at one point I haven't seen them in years.

    It actually got changed in 2.0 and in my opinion it's way worse now. For some reason they decided to make it harder despite it already being arguably the hardest dungeon in the game.
    But yeah, I'd like to see how a full rework could improve it.

    Lots of dungeons need a rework, but Ice Barrows is number 1 on the list imo.

    Room by room:
    Room 1 (collecting 10 tokens) is fine, finding the right mobs to kill and collecting tokens is a pretty average room, it could be made less boring, but it's generally okay.
    Room 2 (parkour) is also fine. The parkour can be a pain as the ice is slippery, but it's a cool gimmick.
    Room 3 (killing room) is just boring and doesn't really add anything to the dungeon. It should definitely be changed to something unique and fitting for the dungeon instead of 'kill 32 mobs'.
    Room 4 (Invisible maze). This room is just crap, sorry, but there's no point pretending it's not. Invisible mazes suck and aren't fun, the fact that you can fall off too (so you have to move around slowly) also just adds to it being very unfun. Just remove this room or have a VISIBLE parkour based challenge.
    Room 5 (wait around for 2 minutes). In this room, you either movement spell your way through in 5 seconds, or you get stuck and do /class to remove the lame barriers that artificially stop you from progressing. This room needs a major change too.
    Room 6 (Collect tokens, fight minibosses) is actually okay in my opinion. Maybe that's just because the rest of the dungeon is so boring and unfun, but this room and room 2 are probably my favourites.
    The boss. Classic bullet sponge with a couple of spells but nothing of interest in the arena, nor any other special features.

    An absolute 2/10 dungeon that needs a rework.

    Lost Sanctuary is boring and repetitive, but not slow. It's also mercifully short.

    I totally agree that Lost Sanctuary needs a rework, but it's still above Ice Barrows for me.

    Lost Sanctuary is pretty good imo. The mobs are cool and the gimmick is pretty neat, even if it gets kind of repetitive by the end and could be a little more creative. The section right before the boss fight is awesome though, the builds look very cool, and if you decide to fight the mobs (which you don't have to do but you can) it is quite fun. Even if you don't like it I don't see how anyone could see this as being anywhere near as bad as Ice Barrows.
    IDK if you've done it in 1.20, but this room is perhaps the worst now. The guys only drop tokens ~1/3 of the time, so it takes about 3 times as long as it used to. The earth gimmick seems to be removed, although I could be wrong; at least it's the case that in 2.0 classes tend to be more specialized into specific elements so way more people will have no spell that does any earth damage. The guards now shoot stuff at you, and spawn a ghost upon death, and there's new mobs with shotgun AI. It's a massive number of mobs crammed into a tiny space, and you'll likely have slowness.
    This is my favorite one actually. I think this might honestly be the hardest room in any dungeon. I never finished ice barrows on my first 3 playthroughs of the game because I couldn't get through here. If you get swarmed by the mobs you are dead, and they come from everywhere so you have to be careful about guiding them around without walking into them. The biting gusts are a cool extra gimmick as well. I really don't see how anyone can call this "boring", I might have called it "bullshit" a few years ago but that would also be wrong. If there was one room that was going to stay the same after a rework I'd want it to be this one. Honestly I hope that a rework would keep this in some form.
    I mean, none of the minibosses do anything, and the arena is really bad, but yeah I don't find this actively terrible either.

    It used to be far worse because the mob stats were completely off-base and the spawn pattens basically didn't exist, but I adjusted it significantly. I still maintain it's not that great, but I actually used very similar design standards between it and Ice Barrows.
    I didn't change the drop rates of the mobs at all, so that bit is just factually incorrect, and in fact I reduced the number of mobs in the room in the base dungeon by a little bit- along with making sure that each one spawns in a defined area so there's always 10 that you can seek out in a set path, instead of having 4 set and 8 random. The Freezing Guards' earth weakness isn't insanely gigantic like it was before, but it's still significant- larger than its fire weakness, even. If the extra specters are too much I do understand. I was trying to make changes based on what people had told me about the room, but since I don't have the manpower or the update focus to change the layout I could only do so much.
    Yeah I want to keep this room no matter what. Everyone I ask about Ice Barrows has said this room is their favorite in the dungeon.
    Again, the whole "unable to edit dungeon due to update focus" bit, but I had planned a while back to split the three minibosses into their own rooms at one point a-la boss altars- you'd bring the tokens and be teleported into the miniboss room, then once you got the token you'd be teleported back out to the main area.

    I do want to remake Ice Barrows properly at some point but the most I can do is slight edits at the moment.

    There are actually signs for most of it, no? You can follow them at more or less normal speed once you failed a few times.
