Each previous rank has a crafting based cosmetic command, so why shouldn't Champion? For a while I've been thinking about how this kind of system could be implemented, and I think I have a pretty solid foundation for now. Super simple,

Typing "/reskin" while holding a crafted weapon will open a menu similar to the "edit icon" menu. From here you can choose a new skin for your crafted weapons.[IMG]

You can choose any of the base styles as many times as you please, but to apply a skin that comes from a crate, you will consume it and apply the skin to the crafted weapon.

I believe this will have multiple benefits:

First, this will give extended creative freedom to players and their crafted weapons

Second, it will give an alternative way to sink unwanted or excess styles other than scrapping them

Finally, this should benefit Wynncraft as a whole due a potential increase in crate purchases, bringing in more money that can be spent improving the game.

This is what I've got for now, though I thought maybe it would be cool to extend the system to weapon affects as well. I'm not sure how possible this is, but I thought it was a cool little idea. Let me know what y'all think. Suggestions on how to make this system better are also appreciated.

Well for an example, you just finished crafting a spectacular weapon. Truly powerful. You think of an awe-inspiring name fitting of such a weapon. But it's just a stick. I believe with the ability to choose the weapons appearance, you are given an opportunity to make the weapon look the part, not just sound and feel. Just a little extra something for crafters to play around with, and to give their creations a more personal feel.

Can't you already do that with weapon skins, just more permanent?

This system would make it link to the weapon, not the player. Currently if you have a weapon style equipped, it would make YOUR weapon look cool, but the moment it's on the market it looks like a stick again. It would be a way to make it link to the weapon, not the player. This way, no matter who buys it, the weapon still looks fancy.

    Ah, I see
It wasn't really clear in the suggestion, you could perhaps specify that in your post
