    Make the atree description of Ophanim Orbs match what actually happens. When you read the description a new player might think that higher attack speed is better for lightbender because your orbs would attack faster. That is what I thought until quite literally 3 hours ago.

    My suggestion is that either scale the attack speed of orbs with main attack speed (doesn’t have to be 1:1) or just change the description to specify it doesn’t scale.

    As much as I would love this, I am concerned about how absurdly busted the light bender Riftwalker combo would be. Non mythic endgame builds already get around 30-40k Ophanim with full Winded, so having a super fast attack speed weapon against some bosses like Greg would allow the user to deal like 80-100k DPS as well as having 7-8k+ heals is just... pretty insane. This isn't even taking Entropy into account.

    If they did scale orbs with attack speed, it should probably only increase by a minimal amount, starting from Super Slow to Super Fast. Either way, the description probably needs to be updated

    That is a good point… I think the 20% damage per attack on an orb would mitigate this but still that is true. Definitely shouldn’t be 1:1 attacks for sure.

    What if the attack speed of the orbs was scaled as well as the damage?

    Maybe like each tier attack speed increases/decreases the orb fire rate by 5%? Entropy has a 33% increase so it definitely shouldn't be too crazy (100%+ orb fire rate sounds funny!)

    But I like the concept of set attack speed rates since faster attack speeds means you (mostly) have to rely more on mana regen versus mana steal, and it would probably make light bender a lot more build friendly

    The problem with this is that Light Bender + Riftwalker is already extremely powerful, so if they did scale orb damage it would basically be a requirement to lock Lightbender out of Riftwalker since that damage would scale way too much. I know a lot of people would be mad about that, but just looking at base Light Bender, scaling orb damage is actually a pretty nice idea (lower damage with faster fire rates so it balances out and doesn't benefit one specific attack speed)

    Wait can someone clarify to me what exactly this means?
    I thought superfast attackspeed would make the orbs faster too, is that not true?
    Also, does entropy make the orbs faster?

    Endgame mage Mythics already reach 100k dps, crafted can reach higher. My record for light bender is 130k on Monster with Entropy.
    I would find it more interesting if they removed the attack speed multiplier for orbs (super slow and super fast now both do the base damage of Weapon with no mult) and instead just increased the attack rate of them based on attack speed.

    All orbs recharge at the same rate. There is an optimal attack rate depending on the number of orbs you have. 2-3 orbs, fast. 4-6 orbs, normal or slow is best. 8 orbs, very slow. (Based on my experience). Entropy does make it recharge faster. For example, spaming attack at 6 orbs with slow attack speed, I would only shoot 4 to 5 orbs before I interrupt my attack and the first orb shoots again. This makes one orb completely useless (16.6% dps loss). With Entropy, I can usually get all 6 orbs to shoot out before it gets interrupted with my next attack.

    Also alternative solution, I had an idea that the orbs would "stick" to mobs and deal thier damage over time.
