Game Mechanics am having trouble getting back into the groove

i know its been more than 2 years since i played and even then the last time i played was grinding professions on my main character, its not easy to adjust to the changes, the fact my detlas scrolls refuse to work as "i have not been there yet" now all my large stacks boat passes are worthless, inv is limited like it always has been, my tank builds die seemingly in seconds.

i'm just wondering if there is a way to play legacy versions offline, like with the same map and mechanics are versions previously.

like its really hard to describe the difference, but like its a culture shock in a way i have not been through the previous updates to adjust to.

 

this is the classic mmo major update vibe. just start a new class and reexperience the game a second time. Doing so will well-prepare you for getting back into the groove with other classes.

And I feel for you, I also had a bit of trouble getting into the groove of 2.0 but I did what loonitick suggested and it worked well.

 

wait, i can sell them? lol, my experience in many mmos is legacy items are removed or marked as to disappear once in my player inv, if they won't work but others want them i will sell them. also my shaman feels more powerful as of late, like he only got buffs in the latest patch? meanwhile archer feels the different despite the fact i could NOt put my finger on how and as for assassins... well my days of mountain climbing are over, poor guy can no longer get up to the floating ship in detlas anymore either. oh and tanks, i barely played them before 2.0 but i like them now, they actually feel like they are no longer funneled into tank only styles.

oh and i won't use server names, but we all know which one deletes valuable legacy items once they are no longer usable/available to get.

 

Yeah in wynncraft the opposite happens, when an item gets removed (you can’t get it anymore) then the market price skyrockets. About what you said about assassin, if go for the acrobat archetype then it’s actually easier to climb mountains using dash and a lot more fun the vanish.

 

dude when an item gets removed in any game doesnt the price just go up in terms of being a collectors item? ofc in wynn i think its illegal

 

i dont think anybody buys the boat passes they just kinda being sold for that price and not being bought
