The 2.0 update added several new parkours, and implemented pity systems for them. My suggestion is to add a pity system for the EO parkour as well.
The EO parkour is not only very difficult, but is also a required piece of gameplay, as a boss altar, arguably one of the best quests in the game, and the future entrance to Dern are locked behind it. As such, the EO parkour shouldn't be an unpassable wall for people who aren't good enough at parkour.
Now, I'm not suggesting a nerf to the parkour itself, but instead a system that would allow people unable to do the parkour to still be able to pass it. I understand that some people like the parkour as it is, and a pity system would not take away from that. The quickest way to get through the parkour will still be doing it normally, so there would still be a point in having the parkour exist. I think the EO parkour has a very interesting mechanic, but it is simply too hard for some.
Finally, please do not just say "skill issue" and dismiss it. Not everyone is good at the game, and Wynncraft is supposed to be as inclusive as possible, while a parkour like this without a pity system is not.
If anyone has any ideas on how this suggestion could be improved, feel free to put your ideas down below.
Have a great rest of your days!
Edit: Can people who said no reply as to why you don't want this change? It would help myself and others better understand the other side of the argument. Thank you!

Honestly I just want them to add a pity system so carrying people in EO doesn't take over an hour. It should be pretty long to get though, like 30-40 falls paired with a timer so that people don't abuse it by just falling off the first platform a bunch of times.
    (also skill issue)

I don't really get this. There is no other skill where the game will just let you through, and I see no reason why EO's parkour should be any different. If I die 50 times at the first combat section, I wouldn't expect to be able to skip it either. You can argue that combat is a much bigger part of Wynncraft's gameplay than parkour, but you can't just ignore that parkour shows up in every dungeon, and many other instances in the game, so the player has plenty of chances to get good at it, and it's definitely an established part of the game. It's not some obscure thing that you suddenly have to be a god at for no reason. I really don't see the problem with having one mandatory kinda difficult (although, I'm sorry, but it really isn't difficult) parkour section in the entire game. It's a game, and a game tests your skill. When you fail the test, you lose. It's that simple.

I thought about this. At first I thought, "parkour really shouldn't have pity systems. I mean, if there's a hard boss, you can't just skip it!"

but you can skip it. You get someone at level 106 with a good build to beat the boss with you.
People can't do that with parkour.

Yeah and someone else being able to just do the boss for you is bad design as well. Luckily, even if the player wants do that they still have to dodge the attacks and make sure they don't die. The stakes are much higher, whereas with the parkour you literally get infinite tries.

I'd maybe understand the desire to have a teleport become available for other players if one person finishes the parkour, but just allowing it to be skipped if a player fails enough times in nonsensical.

Agree, it already exists in 1.20 lexdale witch trials quest parkour (I haven't done it in 2.0 yet) and would be a good addition.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I voted no because I think a pity system is a bandaid solution. I think it would be better to just cut the 4th section entirely, and maybe make the other parts easier too. Maybe they could even make it so that movement spells are more viable there.

The reason why I'm suggesting a pity system instead of a nerf to the parkour is because from what I've heard, some people like the parkour as it is. Adding a pity system wouldn't change the parkour itself, so those people will still be satisfied, but people who aren't good at parkour will still be able to complete it in a reasonable amount of time.

Probably would have to be a time-based pity system so people wouldn't be able to abuse it and just skip the parkour entirely

Yup. It would just be a system to prevent the parkour section taking some people a massive amount of time like it does right now.

Skill pots and other boosts basically exist to allow players to "skip" combat sections by boosting their power substantially. It's a pretty core part of Wynncraft.

The two aren't equivalent in any reasonable sense. Skill potions may be overpowered as hell, but they cost money, you have a finite amount of them, and at the end of the day, you still have to do the combat, however trivially. They may remove the challenge, but you're still engaging with the game. I think 'if something is too hard, you can take measures to make it easier' is a far cry from 'lose enough times -> just skip it'.

Besides, I think skill potions are pretty dogshit game design as well.

I'd say skill pots are essential to Wynncraft's design. You do raise a good point about "make it easier" vs. "skip it" though - I can't think of such a solution but it would be nice to apply that format to parkour as well. That said, I'd take a pity system over nothing.
