Game Design TNA Boss "Watched" Phase Feedback

I was wondering why the speeds of the fire beam and warning beam were going so fast and thought it was bugged. CT reached out and confirmed that it is intentional in the latest adjustment shadow patch of the TNA boss.



I understand on trying to make it a bit more difficult, but this is quite overdone. Sure I could "react faster," become a machine with instant reflexes and simply charge, but outside of that classes with slow mobility are just going to die.

It would be awesome if the speed of the beams get toned down considerably, because right now, even standing at the very far end of the map, you can get hit, and if you're anywhere close, no matter what you're doing unless you have some TP ability, you're going to get hit.

 

they are instant. pretty low counterplay difficulty buff which just aint it. and then there are classes that can run out of mana from spamming their escape abilities if in solo scenario

 

NO SHOT. 1 second lasers go brrrrr

i spammed escape spells and it hits me somehow
the raid is near impossible to complete at the moment

 

As a shaman player im shivering in fear seeing this

 

its insanely fast, though pretty much sure if you just move around it's fine

source: as archer i literally was running and and escape when the watched is about to fade

 

Wynncraft being transparent about their patch notes and changes challenge (impossible)

 

Warp player running at full speed, beam, dead.
140 ws Warrior running at full speed, beam, dead.
Flying warrior spamming charge, beam, dead.

Can confirm, I run Warp as well, doesn't matter if I'm running at full speed or teleporting all over the room without stopping, I'm just dead.

Salted if you love your shadow changes, how about change this the fuck back or at least scale it down like 50%

 

I did TNA now, and yeah the new watched is stupidly quick.
Used archer, it was way to quick and it felt like the window to avoid was way too small to such a massive punishment.

You can't escape spam because when u fall the laser can hit you without any way for you to prevent it

 

Well instead of nerfing the laser they could also change the notification from "you are being watched" to "you are dead"

this update invokes more healers ! ! can't wait to see 5 healers in a corner spamming heal from Greg's laser

 

wynncraft do not change content that was perfectly fine before to inflate difficulty for 1 minute challenge (failure)

 

I assumed it was bugged but I guess not, intentional instant beams

If Watched is meant to be a difficult phase then add any other motive to herd players to certain locations, getting hitscanned to death isn't fun or engaging. Health pots can't even keep up if you're soloing with something that can't self sustain

Sadly, I get kicked out of all raids due to some weird bug, but this looks really stupid. 2.0 is amazing, but I almost think I should have avoided it for the first month as I've lost so much time, so many runes and am so frustrated by the amount of bugs and glitches that actively ruin the game at the moment.

 

wanted to see how it was like to be on the ground when i could just be charging in the air as a warrior
needless to say epic die time happened
