Game Mechanics Do Something to Blood Sorrow

    In my opinion one of the coolest abilities, just not practical to use when going any other archetype out damages or out sustains it. The ability is too underwhelming in damage to disable the use of aura, and taking mask of lunatic over it EASILY out dps' it. No one will ever take blood sorrow if mask of lunatic just puts it in the dirt. I shouldn't have to make a thread with colorful unicorn vomit for letters to have anyone notice that. It's a 100% yes if you should buff its dps or not.

    Another big and weird problem is the overhealing it gives. Doesn't make sense to have an ability that gives allies and you overhealing to prevent damage or getting oneshot when healing as a mechanic just does it better.
    Which just makes no sense to use when spamming auras is the better option. Overheal only makes sense when it gives a big burst of it with a long enough cooldown, similar to the amount acrobat gives. Do NOT buff the amount of overheal OR healing it gives, this would make it too overpowered for guild wars.
    You have two options here:
    1. Allow the use of aura while using blood sorrow
    2. Make blood sorrow heal instead of overheal


    Only way I see this ability being redeemed without these changes is if you add items or change in abilities to have additive dmg. Which we haven't gotten any news about since the changelog, but would be cool to have as an option since achetypes like fallen and acolyte would benefit so much from it.

    Should also include in description that the beam connects to nearby targets. :saltedhappy:

    Should just have the damage and healing match aura with rebound and mask of lunatic. I do think most people would not care if you couldn't disable masks with shift + uproot, but if you buff the dps for blood sorrow while having mask of lunatic, most people are gonna go blood sorrow + lunatic for dmg. Since this will out damage anything else (except maybe summoner), there would be no reason for mask of the awakened, because the reality of the game is that most people are gonna aim for whatever gives the highest dps. The only fix for this would probably be to change the order of the masks to having lunatic last in the tree while having blood sorrow cost more blood pool, that will gate off double totem, making it so there is a longer cooldown to use blood sorrow. Or just give blood sorrow a cooldown if you are to buff the dps that high. But that doesn't sound like a fun idea, would be better to just keep the shift + uproot thing as is.
