I think that the shaman regen should be moved higher up the skill tree, it is an incredibly important and useful skill but is super far down and takes a long time to unlock.
We used to have the heal at lvl 16 (Totem Grade 2) but now we can only get it at around level 80.
The regeneration skill is very important as it is one of the few if not only way we can regen.

Hopefully this gets seen and added at the full release of 2.0 but i understand if there are specific reasons on why its been moved down so much.

You can also spec into Acolyte if you want healing, though it is weird that they nerfed Regeneration's base amount instead of nerfing the amount of healing from double/triple Totems.

I mean, it does force shaman to be like other classes in that life sustain has to be built into the builds, but I think this is a good thing. An ability that outright heals you just takes away a fundamental part of building.

And then meanwhile Acolyte can still casually heal allies for up to 90% of the user's max health for literally no reason

It's actually lvl 56 to get healing, totem and uproot should keep u at a distance to not take dmg

Except that shaman is designed around having sustain, similarly to mage. In 1.20 all the classes had their own damage mitigation methods: warrior and assassin ahd high base def (and vanish), archer had range and mage/shaman both had healing

Shaman's base concepts of being glassy and mid range haven't changed since then, so it lacking an overall form of sustain hinders it a lot
