Game Mechanics Remove Ability Shards

The 30 minute cooldown for resetting the ability tree was bad enough, but ability shards are much worse.
To my understanding you can only get them from daily chests, daily objectives and guild objectives, so if you only have one class and you're not in a guild, you can only get two shards a day, and to reset your skill tree you need 3.
I think this makes no sense, and they should make resetting the ability tree free.

Ability Shards are not fully implemented, and are also a very new addition. They'll likely see a fair bit of changes

 

Their whole purpose will always to be a cost to resetting your skill tree when there shouldn’t be a cost to begin with like with changing your items and skill points. Even if they become abundant, then it would defeat their whole purpose. An emerald cost will always be better than shards will ever be simply bc there are way more alternatives to emeralds and it’s not time-gated.

 

Shards can be bought on trade market so it doesn't change much.

 

An emerald cost is more consistent and accessible to players than the Trade Market. Especially since some players don’t even know about the Trade Market or engage with it, and the Trade Market hasn’t always been up either.

Plus on Ironman this isn’t an option.

 

Depends on the cost too, I ain't paying 32LE just because I fucked up by clicking the wrong ability

i think they should make it like skill resets where apart from daily chests you can buy them in bulk from the tower of amnesia, maybe for 3 eb each

They said unless you leave the city or leave the ability tree you can do whatever you want at no cost, and also I am pretty sure it wont be that expensive since it's something that can be optainable daily.
