currently wybel/cybel's arena has 6 decently sized rises on the edges, sometimes they can get in the way and can be pretty annoying

it's not a big deal but it would be a much better design if it were to be flat
you know, like pretty much every single other boss arena in the entire game

    thanks

The reason there's the raised areas is because the pressure plates that summon the Wybel hordes are all on the raised patches. It makes it easier to keep track of your positioning if you're still focusing on where the Wybel is.

this could easily be done in a flat arena by having varying coloration on the floor or something, and wouldnt get in the way like the rises

a bit late but i've been doing some LI runs recently and this is false, there are several pressure plates not on the raised parts of the arena

Personally, i like the raised platforms, they add a layer of uniqueness and depth to an otherwise generic flat arena

also no idea how they get in the way, there are literally stairs/slabs so u can easily walk over them weirdo

stuff like heavy charge can land sooner or later than anticipated due to the varying elevation is one example, and push can sometimes have really janky interactions with slabs, causing you to get stuck on them or rubber banded.

for the first one, the orange wybel charge works fine and i havent heard any complaints for the wybel charges being wonky from anyone except you for the second

Well, for me when push happened i only got pushed back till i hit a slab, i say i have NEVER EVER been rubber banded or stuck in a slab ever except a few times in li where i respawn beneath the ground after dying, but of course it does vary from person to person, never happened to me but mightve happened to someone else

and also the wybels seem to follow me neatly up the slabs when im running which is nice, look at the photo below :skull:

but then again its in my experience of the boss
