Petition to make Temple of Legends something better than a fetch quest

 

I love how you don't let us vote no

Voting no, because I think ToL is a cool quest concept that rewards you for... idk doing quests
while also being completely optional (iirc many second+ playthrough people just skip it)

though it sucks that they decided to tie a tome slot to it :doom:

I like the quest honestly. Very few quests are as frustrating for a newbie (Mushroom Man, The Canyon Guides, Dodger's Ultimate Weapon) all of which are quests I legitimately enjoy.

Quests I don't like are stuff that are tedious af like The Feathers Fly part 1 and 2 but especially part 2. I also don't exactly like doing the Realm Of Light questline for the exact same reason.

 

I love temple of legends because of the first 6 things all you need to do is have them ready no moving around lol

 

ToL is cool on the first playthrough to a certain extent, but once you have to travel around again and again on subsequent classes it can grow to be a bore rather than an adore.

Why there’s no “no” option are you ok?
It’s not that annoying if you have everything prepared - all items in your inventory, teleportation scrolls, and have good enough gear to solo/find someone good enough to carry you

 

No, this along with the ToA and Bobs Reincarnation should stay very much the same. As they are a staple of the original Wynncraft. I hate that they nerfed the grind spot. As that was the whole point of doing the original quest.

 

I like the concept of you going around the map but the thing that sucked is it really feels like "fetch me this item and other item" in every dialogue in this quest. (And it feels like that in terms of gameplay as well.)

 

Voting double no because 1) biased AF polls should automatically be invalid, no matter what your opinion is.

2) because most people usually have all the necessary quest items by this point, so you don't actually have to go and do the said quests (unless you didn't for some weird reason?). Sure, you have to run around and gather some items to craft a helmet, but you can easily prepare for that for future classes by collecting the items in large quantities so you don't have to run around and collect it the next time you do the class.

 

Update: I didn’t think that everyone liked that quest, because I just felt like it was too long and tedious. Sorry about that

I'm genuinely confused by people who like this quest. Sure, I get liking the boss (I don't), but the lead up to it is brutal. The requirements from other quests are fine, but the whole run all over wynn and the ocean for some ingredients is both extremely boring and inconvenient. You shouldn't have to look up what to do to prepare for your first time doing a quest to be able to enjoy it. A fan wiki should be for learning about more obscure things about a game, not a remedy for awful game design, and definitely not an excuse for it.

 

Even if you dont have all the items already ready it doesn't take long to do /fix quests for whatever you need and then look at the wiki to see where all the stuff is
I dont really mind fetch quests, the boss parts are always where I suck, especially with ones like the corrputer of worlds where they have an attack where they must pick you up and deal damage without you being able to do anything about it

 

I want to remake the CoW area because it stinks !!!! (it is not congruent with the rest of the corruption) why is it green !!!

cause the corrupter is green and it's an iconic look at this point

you change it and I'll find your house and poke your eyes while you're asleep so I don't accidentally gouge them out but still cause you discomfort

 

CoW is also green

yeah honestly the CoW arena still holds up and doesn't really need changes
