Hey, it's Axo back with another semi-developed suggestion.

This time, I was thinking of a raid playlist (similar to the vanguard strikes in Destiny 2) for endgame players to grind.

I.e, a never ending randomized raid that automatically puts you into a raid with 3-4 other players, and is balanced around endgame (TNA level, would change on release of new raids / areas of the map probably) mob stats. It wouldn't have to be like a "corrupted raid", as it could just be heavily buffed stats and maybe a few changed names, with any future level increases just requiring you to increase the stats of the playlist & new raids being added to the randomized pool.

Another feature that could be added (as widely requested by wynn players but not yet implemented on regular raids) would be to add mythic items to the raid pool, and this could be achieved by having the reward chest give out mythics extremely rarely depending on the raid completed (TNA giving out SE themed mythics like oblivion and immolation and buffed TCC, NoL, and Groot all giving out a randomised mythic pool), as well as keeping the ingredient rewards including lvl 90-110 gathering items, at a small amount, LE, random high level ingredients from rare mobs (or themed ingredients like the Grootslang's Heart), as well as usual raid rewards like dungeon keys, and maybe unique armor pieces & accessories similar to the Corrupted Nii set, a set you get from forgery dungeons as you progress.

This would add an incentive to grind raids more, as mythics being added to the pool, however rare, would make raids much more commonly done among the endgame community, like how forgery chest increased how often full runs of it was done, as well as various ingredients/resources to be an extra reward.

I feel as if a feature like this would help with the current lack of endgame content to do other than profs, TCC, lootrunning and wars, and add another way to obtain mythics.

will speak my peace on this idea but keep in mind that i do not know what the vanguard strikes are

straight up endless seems like a bit much, funnier idea could be replacing the raid buff rooms with the option to vote with your party as to whether you want to leave or not and take an amount of loot equivalent to how far youve gone. with this i personally think that having raid buffs in this theoretical endless raid would probably be a very bad idea since it implies endless randomized raid buffs, so either not having them at all or replacing them with small randomized negatives could be funny (think eclipse mode from ror2, where each time you complete a run the next one gets a significant change against your favor)

on the topic of rewards, i think a leaderboard of sorts to keep track of how far youve gone could be really funny. maybe even some vanity rewards themed around the raids themselves? might be a bit much but itd def add incentive beyond just funny viable items, having a cool hat to flex on your friends would be dope asf

also maybe a bit much but having to fight a downsized version of a raid boss on every room which is a multiple of 4 could be silly and enjoyable. definitely dont keep endgame raid bosses as hard as they are in their actual raid, just make a weaker version that retains the primary gimmicks while still lasting about as long as other normal raid rooms. could even add in other bosses if the ct wanted, or hell maybe even make some special custom rooms for this place if they have a funny idea for a raid room but dont know where to put it.

other than that this ideas pretty solid conceptually and could be quite silly and funnypilled

true, although I think that raid buffs as a whole could be not a thing at all, or that every few runs you get to choose a single buff that you use for the next few runs.

Also, why would there need to be smaller versions of bosses when it's supposed to be balanced around endgame (TNA level) anyways if they all have the same stats

And from my limited experience playing destiny 2, vanguard strikes are an unending playlist of the different strikes (kinda like dungeons/raids) in the game, and each enemy takes more/less damage and deals more or less depending on your level, so no matter the level you are you can grind it. It obviously wouldn't work in wynn, but an idea similar to in like an unending playlist would be interesting

mmmeh not sure if i like that idea but it could be funny, i think lacking the raid buffs entirely would be a big enough change to make the original raids still retain significant value against their normal, non-randomized counterparts

takes away from the original raids too much imo, plus endgame bosses might be too long on their own to feel nice in an endless gauntlet (hello tcc)

i see, yeah that def sounds like itd be funny in wynn
