Game Mechanics A Simpler suggestion on how to Improve Lootrunning

It would be simple and easy (would still take work but is relatively small in scale) to implement. Make it so potion merchants sell “Potions of Greater Loot.” The loot potion would make all chests have loot equivalent to 3 hours of spawned-in time, and legendary, fabled, and mythic chances are increased. The catch? The potion is extremely expensive (1 LE), and only lasts for 3 minutes. This would make it so that players would be forced to optimize their routes and go extremely quickly, adding a level of skill and depth that wasn’t there before.

 

I like the concept but I think this would be way too abusable, especially for those who are already filthy rich. So if something like that were to get implemented, it would need some drastic altercations. Think for starters it would be better if it was only enabled for chests of tier lower than 3 and only if the chest was opened within the last....idk 30 mins? I do like the idea of not being forced to wait for loot to regenerate or praying I find a world with a run that hasn't been looted recently
