One of my opinions is that ETW tends to be very polarizing when it comes to finding positives and negative about bosses--all of the positives become a lot clearer, and all of the negatives are clear and exaggerated. Another one of my opinions is that, despite how glassy this archetype is, it still deserves to be at the very least usable in non-raid content for all classes. In this thread, I'll just talk about various things I've noticed while playing ETW Warrior, one of the worst classes to use this archetype on.

    Mummyboard
Overall, Mummyboard is average. Nothing about it is explicitly unfair, and most of what it does is dodgeable just fine. I do have a major qualm however, which is that (as a ranged boss) Mummyboard's frequent teleports often lead to getting clipped by several projectiles with no realistic way to dodge them, especially in the second phase where it has Rapid Ranged AI. This can tend to lead to extremely quick (and frustrating) deaths if your luck happens to be bad.

    Corkus Virus Doctor
Virus Doctor has always been a great boss. The minions are neat to work around, and everything the boss itself does is well telegraphed and/or realistic to dodge. Not much else to say, it's fun.

    Corkus Accipientis
As with the prior two, Accipientis is a solid, fair boss, and is actually one of my favorites in LI. Each phase has its own mechanics that aren't unfair, although Phase 3's Heavy Charge -> Heavy Explosion combo can be slightly annoying as there's no good way to tell whether it's going to use Heavy Explosion or Heavy Multihit (slightly mitigated by the fact that the explosions don't do instantly lethal damage). Still, it's well designed and serves as a good and entertaining challenge.

    Matrojan Idol
While overall alright, this is the first boss to have some major issues, the first being at the very start of the fight in Phase 1. In this phase, Matrojan can pull the player directly into Flamethrower, and it's completely up to luck whether you survive or get hit (which can almost guarantee death, does over 4,000 damage per hit before defense reductions).
Phase 7 is the second main offender, with Charge AI and frequent usage of Heavy Teleports (dealing over 3,000 damage per). While I understand that Charge AI opens the possibility of dodging it, depending on the timing it can also make the teleports impossible to dodge, and eating relatively high damage teleports just isn't fun.
Phase 9/10 are the last issues the boss has, and it's simply that they are absurdly fast, while at the same time have KB CCI with a 4 second cooldown so using high KB spells to keep them at bay isn't possible. Unlike 7/8, these two phases are Melee AI, meaning you can't juke them, you have to outmaneuver them with your spells or risk getting completely shredded by their melee (about 5,500 dps). It amounts to an extremely stressful race against the clock and deaths on these phases just feel frustrating rather than deserved.
Aside from these, the boss is honestly very enjoyable and fair, with the only comment I have left being that Phase 2 is a joke. The only threat is Meteor, which is ridiculously easy to dodge given that you have over two seconds to get away after it pulls while Meteor is also a very slow spell in general.

    Yahyabot
Awful through and through. The perfect mix of boring and somewhat remotely threatening, so you actually have to pay attention instead of just moving to a safe spot and taking a nap. It's a six minute snoozefest that has absolutely no reason to exist, and I'll celebrate the day it's changed or removed.

    Death Metal
This boss is fine! Except for the fact that there are several issues that make it not fine.
    1. Minibosses: The minibosses are individually fine, for the most part. What isn't fine is that they all spawn at the same time at the beginning of the fight. I know that it's not just technical limitations that are responsible for this, as the base fight doesn't do this. With all the bosses spawning at once, it turns into a clusterfuck of trying not to get instantly murdered.
    2. Wired Beast: For some reason Wired Beast is significantly more threatening than all of the other minibosses combined. His damage completely dwarfs what everything else can do (comparable to Warrior Robob's damage per hit), and with everything spawning at the beginning all at once, it feels mostly up to luck whether or not you end up happening to get slammed by a >10,000 damage Heavy Charge.
    3. Arena size: Noticeable especially during Phase 2, the arena size makes taking a decent amount of chip damage from Death Metal more or less inevitable due to the Burst Ranged AI. This issue isn't quite as bad however, due to mitigation of his damage via Elemental Defenses.
All in all, I personally find Death Metal the hardest boss in all of LI to beat with ETW Warrior, but its issues are definitely fixable.

    Mechorrupter of Worlds
He's ok. The speed is a bit ominous to deal with at times especially combined with the relatively frequent usage of Pull, but due to lacking KB CCI it's possible to keep him at bay. Nothing feels all that unfair, except for the spell combo where he spams Pull a bunch into multiple Heavy Pull -> Multihits. The Multihits feel very difficult to avoid due to the small cooldown of 0 seconds on Heavy Pull. Overall, it's a fun and tense fight that isn't too easy but not overly difficult.
Note: This opinion is likely to change in 2.0 due to War Scream now pulling mobs instead of knocking back, as well as the removal of Air Shout's KB.

    Robob's Reinvention
The second most stressful fight in LI and definitely one of the harder ones, yet it still manages to be fair. Everything is telegraphed well and actually happens to be fun to actively dodge. There's just a couple of issues I feel he has.
    1. Mage Form is one of the few times the game manages to make Meteor a threatening spell. Unfortunately this is dwarfed by the fact that he also uses a relatively high damaging Heavy Teleport very frequently. It leads to a lot of frustrating chip damage that feels slightly excessive.
    2. The end of Warrior Form's ultimate features multiple Pulls into multiple Explosions, finishing it off with multiple Heavy Explosions. For the most part, this is fine, but the last Pull -> Heavy Explosion x3 is incredibly difficult and frustrating to dodge if you end up getting pulled into it due to the 1 second cooldown on the Pull.

    Orange Cybel
Iconic boss that has become better as time has gone on. The cores are a great gimmick of the fight and can make it easier or harder depending on how you deal with them. Cybel itself isn't too complicated or difficult to keep track of which is nice considering you have to maneuver around the pressure plates and cores, yet it can still deal a hefty amount of damage if your concentration lapses. The only issue I have with this boss is that the variations in the height of the stage (why does it have slabs...) can be annoying and can interfere with movement due to inevitable jank.

    Doctor Legendary
The most stressful fight in LI, and the one that's typically the hardest outside of ETW Warrior. Mostly everything is fair and dodgeable (not to undersell the difficulty, it is absolutely a very hard fight), and although there are several scary combos, nothing is blatantly impossible to avoid. I just have a couple small issues, the first being Phase 1's attack rate. It falls under the same issue with Mummyboard, where it often uses a large amount of movement spells, and with its fast firerate often ends up clipping you with projectiles that are very hard to dodge for no good reason. The second and last issue I have is the Ultimate combo he has, where he spams Push and Pull before doing the combo. Don't get me wrong, telegraphs are nice, but the telegraph for this combo can often end up dragging you back and forth into his own projectiles, leading to near unavoidable damage. I'm not entirely sure why it's like this when a simple Push spam would have sufficed.

ETW isn't something that I think needs to be competitive with other archetypes. However, I do believe that it should be usable to get by all of the non-raid content at the very minimum for all classes. A lot of content has damage that feels forced or unavoidable (Panic Zealot is an exception as it's designed around this), and just a few changes could make these things so much fairer not only for ETW but other archetypes as well that just don't happen to feel it as harshly due to their higher EHP letting them avoid some annoying instakill situations.

thanks for reading my bigass wall of text

Huh, I thought warrior would be the best class to use ETW for because its 120% base defense mitigates the lack of Defense or Agility? Especially since other classes have a base defense below 100%.

warrior's moveset is incredibly hindering when it comes to ranged or fast melee mobs. assassin has vanish, mage has teleport and heal as well as good range, and archer has the dps and range to be safe. shaman is the only other class that suffers as much in etw due to its incredible glassiness and not enough single target dps and range to make up for it.

I mean everything is a 1-3 shot on ETW, bosses with one shot attacks aren't very threatening if you know how to avoid them, and ideally every high damage attack in the game should be avoidable outside of a few exceptions so with a well-destined boss once you've learned the attacks it shouldn't be a problem. The point of Highbread's thread was to analyze whether the attacks you were expected to avoid in each boss were reasonably avoidable, he uses ETW because like he says the difficulty of a boss when fought with ETW is far less determined by damage numbers and more by how difficult the attacks are to avoid, if you don't avoid just about every attack in ETW you'll probably die.
