Game Mechanics Make lag not delete player items into a black hole

When clicking items into the blacksmith / identifier and other menus, lag can cause items to be deleted at random. It would be nice if this didn't happen, because server lag is out of the player's control.

Players shouldn't have to worry about their items being deleted when interacting with the blacksmith / trade market / identifier because of random server lag spikes.

In the past few days I have had multiple incidents of this, it's only a matter of time before people lose their mythic or quest items like Prowess and Cosmic set.

 

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone can do anything about that. Truth is, the best thing you can do is apply /itemlock on your items

 

Itemlock doesn't do anything for this, the item is not being dropped it is literally just wiped from existence.

 

Just click it in slowly, also, I don't think wynn can do anything about the items being deleted, just be cautious

 

It happened to me once. /itemblock just fixed my problems.

That's why they should add a rebuy system just like in Borderland, so you can buyback the items you sold at the blacksmith

 

That's likely untrue, many other games have safety checks to make sure items are not deleted so it's not far fetched to add one here. Even skyblock has the Jerry which attempts to return glitched items back to you when lag or some other glitch happens.

The player shouldn't have to wait 10 seconds between clicking in items just out of fear it will accidentally delete something
