    Greetings, Someone. here.

    - - - < - - < The Idea and the Backstory > - - > - - -

When I first started playing Wynn and got to "The Mercenary" quest, I was introduced to the Fabled item tier. I believe I'd be right to assume it was a lot of people's introduction to that item tier too, seeing as there isn't really Fabled items before lv30. Reaching lv70, I saw "The Ultimate Weapon" quest in my Quest Book, and then being slightly introduced to the larger Wynn community, I knew that there was a higher item tier - Mythic. Now, with the previously given information, I was lead to believe this was the introductory quest to that specific item tier... Fast forward a few days later, I was slightly disappointed, but thoroughly entertained (this was the 1.19 version of the quest, when it was better than what it is now with the soft whetstone), but the idea of that quest being another item tier introductory quest never escaped my mind.

A few months later on, when I was more informed on Mythics, I saw that there were 5 low leveled mythic weapons - Archangel, Pure, Az, Aftershock and Apocalypse. What stuck out like a sore thumb to me was their level range - lv69 to lv81. What's around the middle of that level range? Lv75. And what level was "The Ultimate Weapon" unlocked at again? That's right, lv75. And then an idea sparked up in my head.

First off, to address the elephant in the room - the Mythics.

    - - - < The Mythic Change > - - -

You might be asking yourself many things regarding this, so I'll try to answer as many as I could think of.

    - Every mythic gained from the quest will be Untradable.
    - Every mythic gained from the quest will have static IDs ( imagine the Bob/Hive weapons )
    - Every mythic gained from the quest will share the same level requirement. This and the static IDs would mean there would need to be rebalancing of the stats. I'd try my hand at this but as I'm not a person commonly associated with mythics or game balance, I'm not even going to try.
    - Every mythic gained from the quest will have a Quest Requirement of the new "The Ultimate Weapon"

And finally to not mess with the mythic users' feelings

    - Any low lvl mythics gained from outside of the quest - IE Lootrunning / Forgery / Dropped Loot - will be removed from the loot tables, meaning you can only get new ones from the quest. They'll still be tradable and rollable, but they'll mostly be collector items, untouched.

There is one more change about how you get them, but I'll cover it in -

    - - - < The Quest Change > - - -

Now you may also be asking how can I make such a wonderful/terrible ( depending on how you see it ) quest into an introductory quest for the Mythic item tier?
The quest is no longer about forging a weapon. The end goal is to get a token that can be traded for with an NPC in Thanos to gain one of the 5 weapons OR an LE reward. It can stay as 7 LE, but I say bump it up to something like 10 LE or more. Why? Because unlike the weapons, you can't trade back the emeralds for the Token. Once you trade for a weapon, you can trade only the quest version of said weapon for the token, to save people from accidentally wasting the token by miss-clicking.

... Oh right the change of the quest itself.

It could still be a parody of fetch quests if the CT really want to, where you just help Dodegar with simple, repetitive tasks, which when completing he repays you with the token you can use in Thanos. This can follow the way of "From the Bottom" and be some extremely rare artifact, or maybe something related but not super crutial to the main Gavel Storyline ( something related to RoL, D&D, the Colossus, whatever ), or just simply a token item like the ones given in WynnExcavation Site D or The Hive. It will be STRICTLY told to keep onto that token, in the quest and in the item description, as a way to make people not throw it out immediately after completing the quest.

It could also become a whole different quest. I don't have an idea on what it could be right now, but you might have an idea! I'd love to hear it!

    - - - < - - < Closing Remarks > - - > - - -

In the end.... We can't really change how the game is gonna turn out, I just wanted to share this idea I've had for over a year now but never really got to sharing. Do you agree? Do you disagree? Do you have any questions? Let me know! I would love to see mythics become something the common player could actually very likely get their hands on without spending ungodly amounts of hours and emeralds.

gettings mythics like this is wayyy to easy, it ruins the gimmick of mythics being rare and stuff, besides u can craft weapons which have the same damage if not stronger damage than their mythic counterparts (which is pretty grindy but a good alternative if ur dedicated)

eg: look at this "weathered" i crafted, its actually does more dmg and has more ws than the mythic (https://hppeng-wynn.github.io/crafter/#1AY6c383838389e92)
and yes maybe i did want to show the cool weathered i made

i think if this were to be introduced, the mythics that were to be introduced would have to be completely new and worse than actual mythics, as this would be wayy too easy of a wway to get mythics that are actually good(ashock is literally like 5 + stackkers or something liike bruh)
imo i thin that if this idea was introduced into the game in 2.0, it could be cool but it should give an untradeable mythic tier weapon that is basically just a gimmicky fabled weapon(so that other weapons at that level are still viable and the meta at that level wont be just get that one item from that one quest bro)
and the quest shouldnt give a token and instead give the weapon based on the class you are playing(ie if you are an assassin the quest will ask you to get the same items as it does currently, and then give the weapon. and if u were a mage you would get slightly different items and then you would receive a funni wand).
also you could just make bob mythic's items actually mythic tier and make reincarnation require you to get a quest reward from ultimate weapon in order to buy the weapon idk man

edit: also the quest giving the actual low level mythics would be a big slap in the face to people that actually own that mythic since their efforts of obtaining said mythic would jsut be wworthless since now it is a quest mythic :/

you already get the best weapon in the entire game from this quest though, why would you need mythics
