So, you may know, challenge modes have been returned to the stats page Screenshot_20220716-204329_Adblock Browser.jpg

But... there's a slight change to it that I don't particularly agree with: Displaying Perma Hunted.

This is an issue. Hunted allows for other players to kill you, and by tracking any of the stats that update real-time (professions) a hunter can establish 3 critical pieces of information from just your stats page. Those are:
    1. Your WC
    2. Your level
    3. Where you are narrowed down to 3 or 4 different spots. After a hunter knows that you are fishing at level 72 they know you are at 1 of the Gylia fish spots. Only so many of those spots exist and it's way too easy to hunt players if you know all the above.

Please reconsider and remove the Hunted cuff from the stats page like it was before.

I don't think so, but perhaps that was because the dev forgot to put it in after 1.19 dropped

Dont know if you know this but, it's been more then 1 year that is possible to check if someone is in hunted mode or not.
But you may wonder: Why before it was not displayed on the website? And my answer: i have no idea.
This is nothing new and, trust me, giving the possibility to see if someone is in hunted or not from the website is nothing that really is going to change.
There are already bots that track people in hunted mode that are currently active, example the one i created 3-4 months ago, https://github.com/TechAle/wynnUtilities

And i dont think they should remove hunted mode from the api, why? Because, without the possibility of tracking hunted players is basically impossible to find anyone in hunted mode within 1 hour; too little people play in hunted mode.

honestly while hunted has a lot of issues this isn’t really one of them. you’ve been able to see hunted mode players through api/wynndata for a long time.

i also disagree with the post above. it’s fucking stupid that you can track hunted players using the api. honestly with how broken the mode is going to be in 2.0, they should just disable/replace it entirely until there’s time to work on pvp in the game post update.
