Ability to buy Cosmetics (Pets, Effects etc.) in the trade market.

In Wynncraft, we already have the ability to sell Horses, and I have been thinking we should be able to sell or trade Cosmetics in the trade market as well.

Cosmetics are able to be earned through Crates, during Events, or (daily/monthly) and Event cosmetics are a One-Time thing. However, due to it being a One-Time thing, I'm sure most of us own duplicates of the same cosmetic, unable to be Traded-up (Scrap), sold/traded and to me, I see it as a wasted opportunity. It would be cool to have a marketplace something like the Horses, for the cosmetics.

Other games/companies also have these features, notably the Steam market, where you as a player can sell items you own on the market.

Another option will be to just be able to be tradable, whether you want to give it to someone as a gift etc.

 

While it would be nice to swap cosmetics with other players, I'd stay away from the trade market. If you could sell cosmetics on the trade market for emeralds, then that would make the game p2w, black market cosmetics could sell for substantial amounts of LE, and festival cosmetics would be even higher because of their scarcity. So no. Cosmetic swapping is a cool idea in theory, but there seems to be a limited amount of sustainable options for it to work.

Maybe with a new currency that can ONLY be used to trade cosmetics. Otherwise hell no.

 

yea, that is true, I was going to write more on tradable-ness, but since in my previous post I discussed it somewhat, (being able to trade duplicates or outright "delete" them) I thought id do this on the trade market part, which now that I read your comment and thought about it, see the huge flaw.

Also on the last post, there will be the same issue as it's "tradable" so I know it will never be implemented.. but I just want to be able to at least delete the duplicate cosmetics I own which I cannot trade-up for...
