    Hello Wynners and Crafters!

We all know the quest book - it's the item on the 8th slot of our hotbar for years, but there really isn't that much additions to it. Outside of Dialogue History, there hasn't been any new feature that changes the way you interact with it. The Quest book is meant to be a physical book or notepad that the player carries around and writes about their findings, yes? So, what if we take this idea and introduce something that will make it FEEL like that?

    Introducing: The PoI Page

Many people keep stray pages or post-it notes somewhere close to the cover of a journal or notebook, so it's something that you can see when you open it up. Now, why not do that for Wynn too? There's no shortage of random stray pieces of paper that we're given that have coordinates attached to them, and sometimes it gets tedious to manually get the coords right, so here is my idea:

When opening the Quest Book, along with the long list of quests you can look, select and track through, to the side you'd see a new icon, clicking on which would open a new UI dubbed "Points of Interest". Within this UI you can put in paper items with coordinates on them inside of the UI. You cannot put the same type of item in it and you can remove them if you want to via Shift + Right Click. Using Left Click on any paper would create a compass beacon, similar to the one used for quest, which would be aiming for the coordinates on said paper. Say you have the recovered map that has the coordinates to the sunken city of Selchar, or you had a Legendary Island flier that you clicked on, and it showed directly where their respective spots on the map are. You could even make this a nice way to make player discover areas around the ocean, encouraging them to explore, or it could replace the quest beacon in quests - having an NPC giving you a small piece of paper with coordinates to some place, having you use the feature - to make it feel more natural.

Of course, for repeat playthroughs that might get tedious and unnecessary, so I recommend having Points of Interest inside the quest book be shared between classes. Another small issue would be where the button for this PoI page be? The side of the book is already full from having Quest Progression, Mini-Quests, Territories and Secret Discoveries, so I say why not combine some of these? Territories and Secret Discoveries could simply be shortened to "Discoveries", which opens a sub-menu allowing you to access both. You could also go the Use Menu route and completely rework it all, maybe moving the buttons to the bottom instead of the side?

Please let me know what you think after you have had a chance to read. I can be reached at forums.wynncraft.com/members/someone_wc.143603/, and my favorite class is the Mage. Thanks, and have fun!

I know of very very few uses for this. I'd much rather just have an area in my quest book I can actually write my own notes in.

I would rather these kind of cords just be changed out for quest info cords or have the option to set a beacon to a specific coords
