Add Ukrainian NPC names in new quests

As the Fruma province is being developed, there are probably a lot of quests added, so finding new names for NPCs might be tricky and it get trickier everytime more names are used.
We all know about the struggle of Ukraine and it's people for independence, you can support any side, but Ukrainians are heroically resisting for two months already.
Having said that, I think it would be ethical for wynncraft developers to include some Ukrainian names from this list. I am not saying to add them all, however you should take it into consideration at least some from the list

Why mix politics with a block game server?

While I DO agree that what is happening in Ukraine is terrible, and yes the people are fighting back heroically and valiantly, We don't need this in a BLOCK GAME Server.

Although the premise is good, such a thing would probably end up doing more bad than good.

I don't think anyone pays real attention to the names of NPCs, and I do not see this improving wynncraft in any way. Sharing your opinion is everyone's right, but I do not think doing so - especially on such a matter - would benefit wynncraft as a server, because there are always those who will wish to transfer that opinion to others in one way or another - and that can only lead to division... It's not anyone's fault, it's just who we are.

 

compleatly agree, IRL is IRL we can certainly use IRL storys to help shape the quests and other goings on in the wynn world but any direct stuff over than jokes and to the builders (like town names being anagrams of builders/ devs) is a defo no and a very slippery slope (for example what would wynn do if its found out that someone they nammed a NPC did very bad crimes or something? )

 

Wynncraft should reference warcrimes and terrorism in all of their quests tbh.

Having said that, I think it would be ethical for wynncraft developers to include some Québecois names from this list. I am not saying to add them all, however you should take it into consideration at least some from the list
