Wynncraft NEEDS to make a bedrock server

I recently when gave bedrock edition a try. Went on a server and I was MIND BLOWN, the insane detail in custom mobs, custom gui, custom texture. Infant EVERYTHING was custom on a whole other level. It literally felt like a different game, incorporating mechanics that were far beyond anything java servers could ever achieve.

So I thought maybe it was just this random server that a high budget or something. But every single server I went into was like this, they had essentially created a different game entirely.

Now if this is what basic servers and admins in bedrock are capable of. Just imagine if wynncraft, the most advanced java server to ever exist came to bedrock! The server would literally reach new extreme heights. They could literally become a seperate mmo rpg game. Not to mention that you can now play wynncraft with friends in coop mode on your console,phone or anything!

Much less lag and better connection as a bonus. I’m not saying remove the java server or anything. But certainly begin the project of making a bedrock server. This would truly great an mmo rpg on par with the best mmo games to date.

most things would have to be remade from scratch because of how different bedrock is to java. its just not worth the resources for something that might fail

 

It certainly won’t fail since bedrock has more players. And java players get free access to bedrock. So it’s worth the time and investment to making a better server

 

Sure, it may attract a lot of new players; does that make it worthwhile, though?

 

I have not done a research, but I am fairly sure it is not just it being bedrock edition. Maybe it is the fact that the servers are newer (thus more likely to use modern features) or just have bigger budget, who knows. Fact is, Wynn is old, meaning it uses some old stuff which would be hard to modernise.

Which would literally ruin point of using bedrock if they split from minecraft.

And in the meantime the community will die. Currently, we have over a year since last update. With it all remade it could be much more. And this would not even necessarily mean using all the fancy features bedrock is supposed to give.

 

It is also possible to get all of these cool features on Java, wynn doesn't have them because it is an older server and the amount of work it would take to change every mob or every item's textures isn't w.orth it for a visual change. The time would be better spent adding more content

 

Yes! Read what I wrote. Bedrock is far superior for building an mmo. Wynncraft will be on another level

 

As a bedrock player for over 6 years, I consider servers on it to be total ass. I only started playing java 2 years ago and everything Ive seen is miles ahead of bedrock. Joining any non-main server will show you how few players really play, and even more how poorly the servers are kept. Constant lag, disgusting movement, kb and mechanics.

I am curious to know what server/game you are talking about since I have not experienced such servers(except H*ve) in my bedrock gaming.

 

Java does have access to great customization now as well, just look at Origin Realms or Mineclub, they also have their own insane GUIs and models. It's just a matter of time until all these new java tools are used by more people!
Moving to Bedrock is, as others said, practically impossible, especially if it means shelving the Java version. I know some Java servers can be accessed on Bedrock with new recent tools, but it might take quite a while for that to happen to Wynn as well.

 

Not necessary, I would prefer more updates rather that spending on something that might not worth the time after the effort like others said
