    This isn’t a discussion debating whether it is a healthy practice to spend real money for randomized in-game items. These are ideas to update Item Bombs to be more player friendly through suggested quality of life changes.

    Side note: The most cost-effective bomb package is 52 Item Bombs for $49.99 USD. This can be expressed as $0.96 per bomb, and $0.48 per item. These randomized items are most commonly powders, normal-tier items, or something else entirely. Keep this in mind.

    Item Bombs clutter the chat, and depending on how fast they are being used, it can sometimes be difficult to claim them. I suggest 3 ideas to help resolve these issues:

    • Player Agency
    As long as a player is active on a world and claims an Item Bomb, instead of taking 2 inventory slots, Item Bombs are automatically sent directly to a new section in the Manage your Crates interface. This way, players with cluttered inventory spaces do not have to make the difficult decision to juggle items or miss out entirely.
    This grants agency to the players which allows them to open Item Bombs at their convenience, lowering the stress of the situation and the fear of missing out.

    • Item Bomb Streaks
    Instead of announcing each time in chat that an Item Bomb is dropped, make the announcement only display once. Integrate a counting system (like a streak) somewhere on the screen that alleviates the walls of text in chat and condenses it to fit neatly on the screen.
    This quantifies how many Item Bombs are in circulation, which improves communication and clarity.

    • Condensing Item Bombs
    This ties into the previous dot-point, and the side note made earlier. I suggest the ability to condense and use any amount of Item Bombs at a time.
    This idea is… problematic as it can be interpreted as condensing 100 item bombs into 1 of Mythic quality. This is not the case.
    This is to grant items in one heap. This way, it cuts the time spent individually scrapping and sorting 2 items at a time with each bomb that comes.
    For example, have options that allow the player to open 1, 5, or All Item Bombs. This makes the process easier and faster.

    Also fix the part where you can't claim it after you start a dialogue with NPCs (I also agree w/ this suggestion)

    So you want to be able to instantly claim hundreds of items with 1 click (you could be doing ANYTHING while this happens) and have said hundreds of items (container slots) stored for free?
    Asking for too much in my opinion
