World Add more custom Armor

This idea is pretty simple. Just add custom armor like the Adventures hat but with Boots Chestplates and Leggings. This will take a lot of work but would make Wynncraft even more unique.

 

I think the reason behind this is putting items and blocks on the player's head (helmet slot) is possible and you can't 3D texture armour when its equipped like you can for items/blocks.

 

I don’t think they can without using a mod, but I think there are a few community made resource packs that use optifine to give items/armours unique textures

 

That's not entirely true, you can sort of make armor models like how the guild cape works but it just makes things a whole lot more complicated and even then it wouldn't for any chestplates with sleves, any leggings or boots since it can't be animated to align with the player. I server I was helping with a while ago had a feature to make your equipped sword follow behind you when not in hand and you and they were aligned with the back, not the head and there were no desync issues, the only problem was that the player could see the sword if they turned quickly enough. There's no reason why that couldn't be made into a chestplate or wings or really anything else.

Basically, the best thing they could do with that would be to add symbols or trimming or wings or really anything to chestplates which would be cool but also completely pointless.

He specifically mentioned the adventurers hat which is a black market tier custom hat so no, he isn't talking about dyed leather armor.

In 1.17 you can use shaders to retexture leather armor. You can't change the model , but you can retexture it. This is 1.17+ only. I don't know if it's really worth it, and it may cause performance issues (it should be very minor though if done right)
