Game Mechanics Quest Item Removing

Hello, my in-game username cherrybll17253 and I would like to make a request. I have always had problems with quest item because it would not be deleted. I know that it could be put in the enderchest but it simply does not work. So I wish there was a command : /itemremove which will delete an item that is in hand. And also a confirm page just so that the players could check what they are removing.

 

-you can fill your inventory with emeralds then drag your item to the crafting grid to delete it
-"oh gee I just deleted my alkatraz thinking it was a helm splitter"

-use /fixquests to get quest items you might've dropped back
