Warning before reading: I have been playing Wynncraft for a while and love the game, however I feel that it could use some more options for players to choose. The Summoner was a basic idea that I have been developing for a while, but seeing as I am not actually able to go in game and try it out against the other classes to make sure it's balanced, so please keep that in mind when reading any statistics or percentages.

Class name: Summoner (Necromancer VIP version)

Stats: 2 damage, 3 defense, 2 range and 5 spells.

Description: Only a fool fights alone. Summon you allies into the heat of combat and overwhelm your enemy with your army. (IDK I'm not very good at this part)

Main weapon: Orb. Shoots out a single ray that moves a bit slower than shaman's, but instead of dealing damage on hit directly it sends out particles (explodes) on the point where it hits that deals damage to surrounding entities in a 2-4 block radius. Damage would probably be comparable to mage wands.

First Spell (R-L-R): Summon. You summon a group of monsters (Wolves for Summoner, Baby Zombies(So that hitbox is the same) for Necromancer). These Monsters have 10% of you HP and 10% of your attack damage.

Level 1 (Acquired at class level 1): You summon two entities.

Level 2 (Acquired at class level 16): You summon four entities.

Level 3 (Acquired at class level 36): You summon four entities, plus an extra entity that is stronger (50% health, 40% damage).

Second Spell (R-R-R): Swap. Swap places with an ally (Includes Summons/Pets). You crosshair must be pointing at them and they must be less than 20 blocks away.

Level 1 (Acquired at class level 11): Base ability.

Level 2 (Acquired at class level 26): You also heal them by 10% of their HP.

Level 3 (Acquired at class level 46): They gain 50% resistance for 1 second and 30% damage bonus for 5 seconds.

Third Spell (R-L-L): Spiritual Wrath. You call upon the spirits of those you summon to destroy your enemy.

Level 1 (Acquired at class level 21): Deals 200% spell damage, healing you for 1/8 of the damage you deal.

Level 2 (Acquired at class level 36): Kills your summons, dealing an extra 50% damage each.

Level 3 (Acquired at class level 56): Reduces their damage by 10% for 20 seconds.

Fourth Spell (R-R-L): Wraith. You let out an aura of power around you, stealing strength from enemies and giving it to allies.

Level 1 (Acquired at class level 31): You deal 25% damage, healing those in your aura by that amount. You also steal 6 mana instantly and grant it to each of your allies. You do not benefit from these buffs.

Level 2 (Acquired at class level 46): You apply any positive effects that enemies had on your allies, and negative effects that your allies have on your enemies. (If the moderators want, this can include Vanish spell or War Scream)

Level 3 (Acquired at class level 66): You gain half of the benefit from the previously mentioned effects effects.

While "summoner" isn't a very original idea, this is actually pretty good. I personally like how the Wynncraft classes are atm, but if they had to add one, this one'd get my vote.

Thanks! It was supposed to follow a major fantasy trope, that way it is more likable to the vast majority. Who wants to play a class that they can't make sense of?

The part that I really like about my idea isn't the idea itself, but how different it is when compared to the other classes. The abilities are unique in their functions, which gives players a lot more variation to the normal couple of ability functions while still following the same format.

"new class idea, summoner/necromancer" is a bit of an oxymoron

What do you mean? I don’t see anything contradicting itself there. Unless you’re talking about “Summoner/Necromancer” which is just the normal and VIP exclusive versions.
Sorry, but I just don’t see an oxymoron there. Did you mean something else?

Summoner/necromancer is probably the most suggested class, so calling a suggestion for it "new" is an oxymoron

Ok. The new part is referring to the fact that it isn’t in the game. That’s why it says “new class idea” instead of “new idea for a class”

The sentences are very similar, but the modifier “new” only modifies one noun. So therefore I’m not saying it’s a new idea, I’m only saying it’s a new class. The idea also modifies class, but only in saying that it’s not already in the game. There is no connection between new and idea.

    English is complicated.

I know that was what you were implying, I was making a joke
I even highlighted the 2 words I was referring to in bold but it's still hard to read even then
