World If there's a raid/dungeon/bomb going in a WC that's restarting, delay the restart.

    I think it will be a good idea, because many raid/dungeon runs/bombs are failing, because the party queue sometimes puts you in worlds that are gonna restart when you start the raid/dungeon run...

    If there's a raid/dungeon run active on a wc that is restarting in 10 minutes or less, the world is gonna restart 2 minutes after the last dungeon/raid.
    If a person tries to start a raid/dungeon run, when a certain wc is 10 minutes or less from restarting, and there are no dungeon/combat xp bombs - they wont be able to start it.
    If a person tries to start a raid/dungeon run, when a certain wc is 10 minutes or less from restarting, and there is a dungeon/combat xp bomb/both - they will be able to start it.

    If there is a bomb/bombs on a wc that's restarting in 10 minutes or less, the wc is going to restart 2 minutes after the bomb ends.
    If there's a dungeon run/raid that's active while a bomb is active (except shout, item and ingredient and soul point), the wc is going to restart 2 minutes after the last one ends.
    If a person tries to use a bomb (except shout, item and ingredient and soul point) while a certain wc is 10 minutes or less from restarting - they wont be able to start it.


    Of course there will be problems:

    if the command that I suggested below this text is added:
    alts/friends of a certain person could start a raid/dungeon 11 minutes before scheduled restart and making progress slowly to waste more time, until they get kicked/complete raid while the other person lootruns or is doing something else.
    and of course a person can use a bomb (except shout, item and ingredient and soul point) 11 minutes before scheduled restart and lootrun while it's active

    There will probably be more problems / exploits that are not associated with that command




    Also I suggest to add a command that shows how much times there's left until scheduled restart.
    And I also suggest to get kicked from a dungeon run when inactive like in raids (There could be a feature like this and I just don't know it. If there isn't, it will be very useful to prevent an exploit). Time to get kicked from different dungeons should vary between every dungeon. (Dungeons like Fallen Factory will be the most, because a player can be stuck on a certain stage of it, and dungeons like lost sanctuary should be the least)
    This kind of system could also be added to boss altars and quest bosses (example : a hunter's calling, qira hive, tower of ascention, all the other random quest bosses), but there will be a problem - players afking on a spot that the mobs cant hit you, so there will have to be added a kick too
    and yes, i got this idea from hypixel skyblock :DDD

    I think that would be a fair idea, but the amount of spaghetti that would bring is instantly putting this into the "can, and will, crash & burn" category from a development standpoint.

    The best way to rectify this issue is scheduled restarts, which allows players to foresee when a world will restart and plan accordingly. I also agree with the "time until restart" command, something you can already access from the lobby but would be nice to have while on a world. (As a side note, motobot has that functionality on Discord - you can check the uptime of Wynncraft servers with the >up command.)

    Generally do not reply to suggestion threads (or threads as a whole nowadays) but I agree w/ Dazz here, a command or timer somewhere that shows uptime and/or time until server reset, scheduled resets, anything would help significantly with raid and general parties. Not everyone knows about, wants to use, or has access to moto-bot or wynntils or anything that shows uptime, so a default feature showing it would help the general playerbase a ton.

    Wynn has already taken a step in the right direction with putting servers close to restart in the back of the server list, but there is definitely room for improvement.

    The idea is good in theory but it would be so easy to keep up a server for an indefinite amount of time just by chaining bombs, the best solution is going to be fixing the reset timer, not extending the reset time. Either that or preventing bombs from being used within 20 minutes of a reset which I think would be the easiest and most sensible solution.

    This seems very complicated
    Why couldn’t u just like
    Not allow bombs within 20 minutes or like warn the player, same with raids
    It would be simpler and have the same effect basically

    11 minutes isn't enough time considering it would cut half the time off of half the bombs in the game.
