?

Do you think this game would benefit from a presets system for builds?

Going to keep it simple for this QoL suggestion.

In order to let players use a defined set of gear without worrying about accidentally assigning too many or too few skill points in a certain skill, a preset system should be added to the Skill Points screen under the name "Build Preset". How it works is as follows:
    1. Player decides the build they want to use and start distributing the points required to equip all of the items.
    2. Once satisfied, the player clicks the "Presets" button (Enchanted Book & Quill) and selects the "Create Preset" button. This prompts the player to name their preset to whatever they want (color codes not supported) and choose an icon for the preset, before selecting "Confirm Preset" to finish its creation.
    3. The preset is now accessible from the Presets menu and can be used every time a desired set is to be used. If it needs to be edited, the player can Right-click an existing preset and choose "Edit" (Enchanted Book & Quill) or "Delete" if it needs to be deleted.
    4. Up to 10 presets can be managed, unrestricted by Store Ranks.
Caveat: Presets system may be wonky to use once even a single SP has been assigned, as the game might expect to allocate the "exact number" of skill points (more of a programming problem than anything). To rectify this, if the player has allocated SP, as long as they haven't exceeded the SP allocation for any stat, they can still choose that preset to allocate the rest of their SP to match their preset.

    Opinions?

Before anyone says that, yes - it's a feature on Wynntils; the end goal is to make it a vanilla feature of the game itself.

doesnt this exist as the build stands already for champions? ive never used them because it seems like a prime opportunity to lose items but i cant imagine it doesnt assign ur skill points.

While Build Stands exist, that's a rank-locked feature (which also works as intended, nothing about that). This is a QoL suggestion that gets rid of the tedium of having to assign stat points without having to go all the way back to your Housing just to grab a build from a build stand. Of course, this directly competes with a rank feature, but between the two of them, SP Presets are faster (bank vs. housing) while Build Stands are much more customizable.
