Inspired by my own post about this here: https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/hi-c-h-group-challenge-gauging-interest.296684/

The coop challenge is an added gamemode just like hardcore/ironman/craftsman/hunted are. Here are the restrictions:
    • A player must find up to 3 other players (total 4) to start the coop challenge.
      • Unlocks at Lv 50.
      • At least one other gamemode must be activated, otherwise not having another challenge defeats the point of the coop challenge since Wynn is an MMO.
    • No one can continue the challenge until everyone is online and agrees to start/continue the challenge.
      • Create a coop by /coop. A GUI appears and lists out any coops made and a plus sign to indicate creating a new coop.
      • To make a new coop, click the plus sign and type in the IGN(s). Select any other additional challenges to add (at least 1). If the other players (and yourself) have a class slot, they will be sent a message indicating this, otherwise an error will show up on the chat. Everyone must be able to have the challenge unlocked or another error shows up in the chat.
      • Upon everyone accepting, the class is created and everyone is sent to their new class on the same world with a party created.
      • A confirmation will pop up if a player within the coop wants to switch worlds or go to the lobby. If a player does this or disconnects, everyone else in the coop is sent to /class.
      • To continue the coop, one of the players in the coop can continue through the coop GUI. Upon clicking the coop, the server checks if everyone else is online. If there is, a chat message appears whenever one of the players in the coop wants to continue the challenge, and upon everyone else clicking the message, everyone is sent to the same world, a party is formed, and everyone is switched to that class.
    • The player can still log into the coop class without everyone online, but only for inventory management purposes.
      • The player cannot attack, earn xp, profs, do quests/dungeons, etc until everyone in the coop is online and continues the coop through /coop. A message will appear in chat to inform the player about continuing the coop if everyone is online at the time.
    • If choosing Ironman, the group can choose whether to use True Ironman or just Regular Ironman:True Ironman: Just default Ironman.
      • Regular Ironman: Default Ironman but allows trade between players ONLY in the coop.
      • A slightly different colored symbol can represent the different Ironman modes.
    • Symbol: The symbol would be something along the lines of handholding. I'm not a graphic designer but this could be something different if it represents coop better.

If this were to be added, I propose the acronym of all challenges to be CHICH (Coop, Hardcore, Ironman, Craftsman, Hunted).

    I'd really like to

    co-op with you

we could be pro Wynncraft gamers

(on a more serious note I think the only change I would make is not restricting a log in until everyone is online. Allow log ins for inventory management, walking around, testing, w/e, just make all mobs give 0xp, no quests are startable, no dungeons or raids startable, etc. Would be nice to not stare at a black screen while you wait.)

    *Group is fighting a boss*
    *One person gets disconnected*
*Everyone gets kicked to /class and has to redo the boss*

This would be just God awful requiring that all party members are online at the same time to do most things. Players already suffer from their own latency issues and server issues; this would just make it so that everyone in coop also has each other’s latency issues, further compounding the problem. Not to mention how everyone can be screwed if one person needs to leave abruptly bc of something irl.

Good luck trying to get everyone online at the same time whenever anyone wants to play. Especially when people are across different time zones… Plus you’re basically screwed if someone in the group drops off the Earth or doesn’t want to play anymore.

That’s why this isn’t really a “challenge;” the difficulties stem from random and unrelated things outside of the game, rather than inside like the rest of the challenge modes. You can’t really control them either since you don’t control when your wifi goes out or the server just decides to disconnect you for no reason or you need to pick up your friend suddenly irl. Hence the mode isn’t about your skills bc even if you’re as skilled as YY you’d be at a much greater disadvantage if you coop mates have poor connections or can only play around busy times than otherwise.

Overall just a completely awful and frustrating idea. It offers no real or unique gameplay changes that actually utilize teamwork or cooperation, and there’s nothing to brag about to others for completing it since it’s not ultimately based on skill.

Why is it nessecary to always also activate another challenge?

Also how would hunted go? It wouldn't be very logical to murder your coop-group lol. Maybe you can like hunt other coop-groups down. That would be pretty cool, altough there will never be enough groups online at the same moment..

okay, but what exactly is the point of this? the game now makes you unable to progress unless certain other people are online. i really don't see why this would be a beneficial addition to the game, you can already play wynncraft with your friends if you want to. why is it a challenge mode? hell, it's more like a forced easy mode.

Je ne pense pas que créer quelque chose comme ça soit vraiment utile, les joueurs peuvent attendre tout seul
