Game Mechanics The Arsenal

For years the wynncraft storage system has relied on storing items in progressively more expensive ender chest pages, as well as classes used specifically for storing items. Although what I am about to propose would be a drastic change, it would certainly be very useful as a QoL change.

The Arsenal

Unlocked with a lvl 30 quest, this would be a building located in Detlas which will allow you to put as many items as you wanted, with the cost of each new page remaining the same (Maybe 16-64 EBs), each page storing up to a double chest of items. It would allow players to organize their items related to combat such as weapons, armor, acessories and unidentified items, which would leave more room for powders, scrolls, keys, dungeon items, resources, quest items and more in the ender chest.

The Searching System

It would have a searching system exactly like the market, to allow players to compare the items they already have, and to spare them from the effort of searching it manually. Overall, it would also allow them to keep items they wanted, know more accurately if they have spare items they can just sell, all with a much easier system than we have right now.

Pros:

-Builds would be easier to make
-Would allow for cleaner and more organized ender chests
-The sorting system would allow players to store lower level items to be used for lower level classes
-Would allow the storage of more items at a far lower cost
-Easier to find items to sell to the market, such as worse, duplicate items.

Cons:

-Makes the already purchased bank slots less necessary.


Conclusion:

Overall, it makes a lot more sense to add this system, and it would certainly help with inventory organization, as well as with other issues, like build making, permanent item storage, as well as other benefits.

 

But... the Enderchest exists

 

It costs half a stack of LE per page at a point, it goes even higher, you can't find items as easily or sort them, it's less organized.

 

Then just suggest that they change the prices

The bank page prices are the only real problem, you can easily organize your bank page to show builds and i don't know what you mean by "it goes even higher"

If organizing builds is really so much of a problem even with bank pages, just use housing build stands.

 

Not to show builds you already have, to search for items in your bank to see what are the best IDs you have.

Firstly that's stupid and secondly disregard my comment about build stands

 

I mean I'd love this since I dont really see a point in capping storage space but then again I'm 99% sure this won't be considered because it would make the bank 10x as useless. CT probably does have a reason to not add more pages to the bank/make it super expensive. But maybe thats Stockholm syndrome I really need more storage space I have a hoarding problem

 

IK this is completely off the topic, but I would like to see an option to select the skin of crafted items :D Sorry the word Arsenal just made me thought of this

 

I think that maybe the reason was to make things more challenging and force players to be careful about what they store. But I'm not just going to decide what to do with every item I get as soon as I get it, so I just throw it into the bank and let future me deal with that. The problem is that future me doesn't have anywhere to put the items because all of the bank is taken, and selling it all just seems like a waste. Considering how they've been improving QoL overall, this just makes sense.

 

this would make bank less useful though it would be nice to have somewhere better to store the bank page of ornis and bthrusts I have that I refuse to sell
