Game Mechanics Event Housing Buffs

So here's what I'm thinking. Last year during the wynnter festival and this year with the festival of the bonfire and the festival of the spirits, I have received a yahya tree, an emblem of the bonfire, and an emblem of the spirits. With the addition of the item pedestal, now we have a way to show them off, but even then we only see the item and the name. What I propose is that when these (currently useless) event items are placed in an item pedestal, they give a small bonus of some kind across the minecraft character the plot is tied to.

For instance, the yahya tree could give a small buff in your chances to receive mooshroom ears. A small buff but it gives reason for players to keep them. This is just a small idea I thought would be a great way to reward long term players / recurring players.
