    Good afternoon adventurer
I've been an active Wynncraft player for 1.5 years and of course I have many more to come.
I have specialized in one class because I think it was a good choice, as it turned out it was one of the strongest classes at the time: the shaman. In update 1.20 this was rightly weakened, but they not only threw the Shaman from the throne but also destroyed the Shaman as a playable class.
    The changes were:
Sorcery / Totem no longer works (well)

Crowd Control imunnity (CCI): Elemental Nerf (partly restored, but still too weak)

    Totem Range -15% (Annihilated, withdrawn)

    Heal reduced:
(In combination with Sorcery OP without almost annihilating)

Also a lot of Mythic Weapon Changes

My solutions: Set Sorcery to a maximum of 3 totems
new Hadal Major ID (1 Mana Regen per second in the totem)
Heal can stay that way if Sorcery works again (3 totems cap)
Crowd control should be reintroduced on a large scale.
I hope you take the suggestions to heart as you should know Shaman is the weakest class in the game, a few changes could make him a good class again. The developers have the possibility to balance the classes, where this possibility is also an obligation, Shaman is more than just a grind class!

Honestly, its only issue is CCI.
When you design a whole class on CC, and then take away the ability to use CC, its unsuprisingly shitty.

Oh boy, this will be fun to pick apart.

Shaman's primary issue is that, as a Mass Crowd Control class, it falls flat against single-target enemies. This is not a fundamental flaw of the class, but rather a strength of it, since it makes dealing with bosses that spawn a lot of minions (or when you have to deal with a large amount of enemies, such as raids) much easier if you know what you're doing. For example, I could use Aura and Uproot to mop up a whole bunch of mobs, then either keep using Aura or attack continuously to deal damage to all scooped up enemies. The issue is the "scooping up" that causes the class to fall flat, because of the CCI. The CCI problem has been sort of rectified with a rework to CCI, but it still leaves Shaman weak against enemies that it cannot CC. This is amended by Shaman having the highest AoE damage of any class in the game, full stop, with the drawback of requiring an active Totem in order to do it, which is an acceptable drawback for a very powerful class. Now, let's get to picking your suggestion apart:
    • Sorcery's Totem interaction was rightfully nerfed, because it would effectively allow you and your friends to be immortal. Reintroducing it is a bad idea for the game's balance.
    • Hadal doesn't need a Major ID moreso than an actual rework, though as is I'd say the most recent buff to its base damage puts it in a better position.
    • Crowd Control already exists in this game, the previous implementation of CCI didn't tell you which mob was immune to what, and now that everyone knows what is immune to which form of CC, it doesn't need further changes. Well, except making some of Shaman's spells either work around or pierce CCI. Which you should've mentioned.
I'd go as far as saying Shaman is one of the strongest classes in the game, but only if played correctly by a skilled player, now that everything which made this class BS levels of strong has now been rightfully nerfed or fixed. There's definitely weak spots in Shaman's kit such as not being able to penetrate CCI at times, which causes Shaman to sometimes be weak against enemies, but those can be worked around by adept players who know what they're doing, since the AoE damage they provide can prove to be invaluable in many circumstances.

I think Shaman is a bit in a bad spot, because it is so squishy. It is true you can have CC as a form of defense, but it doesn't work well vs the hardest content, like raid bosses.

DPS wise, it can achieve decent numbers with tstacking. Aftershock/Lumina is a pretty decent weapon for melee DPS.

As a spellcaster, dps wise, it is between a Mage and a Warrior.

I agree with your "weak" if your "weak" means "very glassy".

If your weak means "low DPS", I would say it could use a bit more damage for spells, but not too much.
