Game Mechanics Ability to Choose Dialogue System

I think the new dialogue system is useful in helping new players understand dialogue (such as ID mechanics in the tutorial), but once they hit the midgame (40-ish) on any class it should be able to be changed back to the old system. The new system had good intentions but just ended up pissing off people who have done quests several times and just want to skip past the dialogue for their reward.

 

It is impossible to implement a toggle.

(Btw I don't understand the frustration behind not being able to skip dialogue, it's literally maybe a second slower compared to the old system, and it allows players to skip much more content than before (I believe).)

It really does make a big dif from being able to click and hold for like 1 seconds vs holding shift for 5
Over long quests with a ton of dialogue it really adds up
And sure it allows u to skip some stuff but a lot of the annoying things (such as rol 3) take the same, just u have to hold shift during it so u can’t just fully afk it

On first play through stuff tho I love the changes a lot, I think it is really nice.

The CT have said over and over again that implementing a toggle for this is not possible. Don't expect a different response

 

add option "I want it but they won't change it" or "it is impossible" or sth
