Game Mechanics [QOL] Add a new button to claim Daily Challenge rewards.

At the current moment, completing a daily challenge will simply get you a pop-up in chat with a 'Click Here to Claim Your Reward' button- but, if this button gets hidden due to large amounts of chat spam, or you are kicked out of the server before actually clicking it, that daily challenge reward is poofed out of existence.

There should be a new button under the Character Info compass that allows you to claim your daily challenge reward from there, circumventing the problems with the chat-pop up only system that is currently in place. The chat button would still pop up upon completion, but this would just be a secondary way to claim that reward.

If the reward either goes unclaimed for 24 hours, or you complete another daily challenge before claiming your previous reward, the reward will disappear, either leaving nothing or the new daily reward chest in it's place based on the circumstances.

/daily works after leaving and rejoining. /daily will work until the next Daily Challenge shows up (midnight UTC). This last part is different from what camocat9 is suggesting, which is that it should work until 24 hours have passed.

Personally, I prefer "the next Daily Challenge shows up" over "24 hours have passed."

 

I personally was unaware until now about /daily even being a command, so that's another problem

 

Yeah, they don’t announce it, but it opens ur daily reward if u miss it in chant

 

There actually is an announcement, but it only occurs if you miss claiming the reward. However, if that message is missed...

 

Well this is a good thing to know! I have played on this server for 7 years and have never once heard of this feature. This is exactly what I was suggesting- though perhaps an icon in the character menu could be good to help draw attention to it. That, or add on to the message to read "Click here or type '/daily' to claim your reward!"

 

How many people would actually notice an icon in the character menu?

 

I only found it cause Wynntils has that exact message on the corner of your screen if u do ur objective

 

If it was placed next to the 'Daily Reward' button people would be quite apt to notice it. A menu like this that laid out the system better would work, too.

 

You know how the weekly objection stats the command on the score bored.
Just have it do that for this aswell.
