So I read the Gavel lore rework, and they added some sds that include Nagarath. However, they didnt include a quest for him. So despite me absolutely sucking at making quests, I’m going to try anyway. So here we go.
Also this quest is using the Gavel lore rework as a basis, so some stuff will be based on stuff not in the game yet.
Also I learned how to change font color :DDDDD

Quest name: Wrath of the void
    Length: Long
Requirements: Level 101, has done all forgery dungeons, The Buried Truth completion
Start: Talk to Gratahan at the Forgery pond dock
Grathnaag looks like a rune guardian, except his robes are purple and with black stripes

???: This realm, has weakened, I can finally...
    (Turns around)
???: Oh, I didn't see you there, fellow... human? Yeah, you look like a human.
Gratahan: My name is... Gratahan. I am a strong magician from far off lands.
Gratahan: Say, you look like you could help me. Let me tell you a story...
Gratahan: Long ago, there was nothing. This land we sit on was just a barren wasteland, called the void.
Gratahan: But then, five gods, who represented the elements, came together and created this vibrate, amazing... disgusting... I mean beautiful, world.
Gratahan: However, those gods have become crazy. They have become paranoid, that they would disappear one day, to be forgotten. They started doing things that they didn't know would destroy this world they made.
Gratahan: You probably have seen the Decay. The corruption. Those strange cosmic anomalies. Even that light god you serve, who got attacked by darkness? Those all have been caused by those gods.
Gratahan: We must put an end to this, before their stupidity removes this world from existence. And to do that, I need you to get something for me.
Gratahan: Near Lexdale, the heart of the Decay, there is a small cult, who call themselves the Order of the Abyss. They have an artifact that can find the hiding spots of these gods. I just need you to get it for me.
Gratahan: I doubt they'll give it to you for free though. They have a tendency to... kill things.

Go to the cult hideout near Lexdale. Fight through the members, then reach the end of the cave to trigger a cutscene.

Cult leader: Who dares infiltrate our plans? You cannot stop us, what will happen cannot be stopped...
Cult leader: Oh, who am I kidding? We haven't gotten anywhere. Every attempt at summoning him was a complete failure...
Cult leader: Wait, who sent you? Hmm.. for this?
    (Holds up end crystal item)
Cult leader: (Grathnaag, what kind of name is that... wait. Has he returned?)
Cult leader: ...You know what? Have it. It's a useless item to us anyway... hehehe...

You then get an item called The Elemental Tablet. Go back to Grathnaag.

Gratahan: Oh, you came back. Longer than expected, but acceptable.
Gratahan: You got the item? Perfect! I can finally destroy... uh, the elemental gods that are plaguing this realm!
Gratahan: Hmm... ok, let me just cast some spells and...
    Gratahan: awujdfiuawfhaiu (<- wynnic gibberish)
Gratahan: Aha! I got it. I have finally found where those gods have been hiding.

(If D&D questline has been completed) Grathnaag: It appears you've killed one already. Does Garaheth ring a bell? Well, that makes it easier.

Gratahan: I have made portals to what I suspect are where the gods have made their base. And when I say base, its not like some fortress that someone like you would know how to penetrate.
Gratahan: These are personal realms, guarded by powerful elemental creatures. You must have gear that can counter their strengths.
Gratahan: These realms can also only be accessed in specific ways, some harder than others. But, seeing how you could handle problems in the past, I suspect this will be no problem for you.
Gratahan: How do I know that? None of your business. There is no time to waste. However, you can't just simply kill these gods, as they are too powerful to do so.
Gratahan: You must seal them away by defeating them in battle, and absorb the power they leave behind.
Gratahan: Also, you're going to need this artifact back. It could be helpful...

There will be 5 portals leading the the 5 gods' realms. I am too lazy to get into specifics, so I'll let someone else (maybe you?) do that for me. But here is the general info.
Gaia, goddess of the Earth, is the goddess that represents the earth element, and is the easiest to defeat. The realm entrance is located in the Levigar Plains, on a stone altar to a path left of the Gavel gate. You would need to place 3 tol runes around the altar to enter. Killing her will display this text:
After defeating the goddess, a green light is absorbed into the artifact.
Entia, Master of the raging Winds (I stole this name from the rework lol), is the goddess that represents the air element. To enter the realm, you must visit the Olm grave in the Hive. With the quest activated, some clouds will appear, allowing you parkour to a portal high above the Hive. After killing the god, this text will appear:
After defeating the goddess, a gray light is absorbed into the artifact.
Garaheth requires completion of the D&D questline. If you already completed the questline, simply stand at the altar that the Doguns used to summon him and you get this text:
After defeating the god, a red light is absorbed into the artifact.
Vindalur, the diety amongst the clouds, is the god that represents the thunder element. To find him, go to Kandon Beda and go to the cloud area he is in. With the quest activated, Vindalur will no longer be there. Instead, you will get ambushed by multiple thunder based enemies. After surviving for 2 minutes, a cloud bridge will appear, leading you to Vindalur. Killing him will display this text:
After defeating the god, a yellow light is absorbed into the artifact.
Kraken, the infinite tempest, is the god that represents the water element, and is the hardest out of all of these. To find him, you would need to go to Ancient Nemract and locate a ruined monument with a fountain in the middle. You will need to sacrifice 4 items to hoppers around the fountain, which will then drain the fountain and open a hole. Go down the hole, and you will find a room with 3 buttons. Entering the room will automatically trigger some test, which just asks about basic Wynncraft trivia. Choosing the wrong question will spawn a Sunken Idol, which is really hard to kill. Here are the questions, in order. The right answer will be yellow.
    Who created Time Valley?
    1. The Olm, 2. Corkians, 3, A man named Joe
How many gods created this realm?
    1. 3, 2. 69, 3. 5
What was the name of the last king of Gavel (ok I might be wrong with this one, correct me if I am)?
    1. Lari, 2. Theden II 3. Nagarath
Once you complete the test, a door will open, which leads you to the realm. Killing him will display this text:
After defeating the god, a blue light is absorbed into the artifact.

Once you have killed all the gods, return to Gratahan

Gratahan: Hmm? You defeated all of the gods? Good... perfect... hehe, now give the artifact to me.
    (-1 Elemental Artifact)
Gratahan: Yes, yes, YES! THEIR POWER IS ALL MINE!
Gratahan then explodes, turning into an enderman.
Nagarath: Finally, I can get rid of that hideous costume. It was starting to drive me crazy.
Nagarath: All this time, you foolishly followed my instructions, and ignored my obvious lies. It appears mankind is getting dumber than I last saw them.

(If you did the Ultimate for the Dark/Kander Forest) Nagarath: Honestly, I would call you dumber than the rest! Seriously, Gratahan? Nagarath? How did you not catch that? Oh whatever, you did help me regain my power.
(If you didn't) Nagarath: My name is Nagarath. The Demon of the Abyss. The rightful ruler of this realm.
Nagarath: The last time I tried to remove this world of all those puny imbeciles, the gods always got in my way. But thanks to you, that one roadblock is gone. I can finally get my revenge.
Nagarath: I would kill you right now, but I have better things to attend to. Those bald, braindead villagers need to learn that they can never stop a god.

Nagarath then teleports away. The following text then appears.
You can hear screams from Cinfras. Maybe Nagarath went there! You must stop him before it's too late.
Go to Cinfras and talk to General Francis at the front gate.
General Francis: He's back! The demon is back! Men, hold your ground!
Francis: Wow, reinforcements have arrived already? Well shortnose, no time to explain. The enemy is in Letvus Airbase. We were able to chase him back with cannons, but not after sustaining heavy casualties.
Francis: Go! Quickly! He must be stopped!

Go towards Letvus Airbase. While walking through a ruined Cinfras, you will get trapped in the square and trigger an ambush. Multiple Demonlings will attack you. By killing 20 demonlings for void fragments, you can right click the void wall to Letvus and make it disappear. Continue to the airbase. As soon as you reach the Guild Hall, another ambush appears, this time with Abyss cult members.
Cult Leader: Ah, the idiot. Trying to stop what you started?
Cult Leader: Well, we won't let you. Nagarath will complete his purpose, and we will be his loyal servants.
This one requires you to fight for 3 minutes, in order for the void wall blocking the way to the airbase to disappear. Once you reach letvus, Nagarath will teleport in.
Nagarath: It appears you got passed my slaves. Those cultists were weak anyway. Loyal, but weak.
Nagarath: So, you came to stop me. I'd like to see you try.
Nagarath: You have killed the only people who could actually stop me. I have achieved my strongest powers. And what do you have? Your weapons wouldn't do a thing to me.

If you did Nexus of Light:
White particles surround Nagarath. Yellow particles then start exploding out of him. Nagarath lets out a wither shriek.
Nagarath: What the- What is this? Whats happening?
Nagarath: Is this the light? They have been weakened, they shouldn't-

???: Never underestimate the light, demon. I may be weak, but strong enough to stop you.
Nagarath: What- no matter. Your puny light god cannot stop me.
This will skip his first and second phases, and give him elemental weaknesses to everything.
If you didn't complete Nexus of Light:
Nagarath: I will destroy you, and your entire puny race!

Nagarath, King of the abyss, is the final boss of the quest. He has 420k health split over his phases, does massive elemental damage for everything, and has large elemental defenses for everything as well (unless you have done Nexus of Light, in that case all his defenses become weaknesses). He has 4 phases, a tanky one for the first, a wybel high on heroine one for the second, an extremely offensive one for his third, and an all out one for his fourth. I will list the spells and health he has for all of them.
In all phases, every 5 times Nagarath gets hit he teleports away. This can be stopped with movement nullifying spells like spin attack and ice snake.
    1st phase:
    200k health
    normal speed
    ranged burst ai
    Spells:
    Flamethrower, teleport, multihit, heal
    Spell combos:
    Teleport x3
    Teleport -> multihit x2
    2nd phase:
    9999999999999999999999999 health (invincible)
    sanic speed
    drunk ai
    Spells:
Heavy teleport, explode, self destruct, multishit, slowness, heavy charge, pull.
    Spell combos:
    Heavy teleport x4 -> heavy charge -> multihit x3
    Explode x5
    Ultimate: Slowness x5 -> pull -> heavy charge x3 -> pull -> teleport x10 -> pull -> explode x10 -> self destruct
    3rd phase:
    100k health
    melee ai
At this point, if NoL hasn't been done, his fire and water defenses become weaknesses.
    fast speed
    Spells:
Heavy teleport, explode, multihit, charge, heavy charge, bash (will act like warrior bash), arrow storm, pull
    Spell combos:
Any spell minus teleport x5 -> Heavy teleport
    Heavy teleport x3
    phase 4:
    120k health
    sanic speed
    drunk ai
    Spells:
Heavy teleport, teleport, explode, multihit, charge, heavy charge, web shooter, slowness, weakness, bash, arrowstorm, pull, push, execute (removes 99% of your health but has a really long telegraph)
For this phase he will be spamming spells faster than your average archer, except for execute. This will get it's own combo:
    Pull x3 -> slowness -> execute
After a minute, he will pause for 10 seconds and then start spamming again.

    Once you kill Nagarath:
    Nagarath: W#AT?!?! N-N#!! TH#s Ca#'T Be HaPP##IN#!!!!!!
    Nagar#th: ###################!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nagarath then explodes. General Francis will then approach you.
Francis: What in the bovine heck just happened?! We heard explosions over here and thought the colossus was reaching Cinfras!
Francis: ...you what? You killed Nagarath?! How!?
Francis: You know what? Nevermind that. What matters now is that Cinfras is saved, albeit extremely damaged. All thanks to you.
Your screen then blinds you. You are teleported to a throne room, with the senator of Gavel.
    A few days later...
Senator of Gavel: Hello (name), We have heard of your efforts in Cinfras.
Senator: You killed Nagarath, a demon we thought to have been removed a long time ago. You saved Cinfras, and perhaps this entire nation, from destruction.
Senator: For your deeds for this country, we have amassed a hefty award for you, which includes emeralds and gold from our bank reserves.
Senator: On top of that, we bestow on you this piece of armor, which has been worn by the greatest knights in Gavel. You will be the first human to wear it.
Senator: I hereby knight you, defender of the nation. All bow, to sir (name)

    Rewards:
    2 le
    XP
    Cloak of Gavel
Gavellian gold (can be given to a merchant in Detlas, for strong weapons. I am too lazy to make the weapons, so I'll let someone else do that)

You can exit by walking to a door right or left of the king. This will spawn you in Cinfras.

    And thats it! Critism appreciated.

He's called "Gratahan" in the next stages doe

Is he lying about this, or serious? Naragath (at least, talking about our rework since this is what this suggestion is based on) has a tendency to lie a lot

They're back? (they were defeated around 830 AP when they failed to summon Naragath)

Killing the embodiments of the elements doesn't seem possible. Could change it to "weaken" or just sealing them again.

    God, not demon

    Vindalur*

    Kraken*

Remikas was the first king, not the last, the last one would be Theden II

Leader is more appropriate as the royalty was deposed in 750 AP

    Cool quest

For three days and three nights I have been restless. This quest lingers in my mind, and a voice constantly nags at me. It asks me a question, a question that I that shakes my body down to my bones, to my soul and very spirit. "Where is it? Where is it? Tell us, where is IT?" they cry. They scream, they burn my mind with the question that is a flaming brand fortnight heated, now searing my vision with the question. This question, I cannot answer. This question, it drains my lifeblood and is a stab to my throbbing heart every living moment of my life. It becomes my personal mantra, my motto; I am the question, the great unanswered question. And today I muster the will and strength to ask this great, burdening question to you:

Why isnt darkness listed as an element in your quest????????????????????????

As creative and interesting this is, I simply just don't think whoever wrote the poem intended it to be a metaphor for Christianity. It's a fantasy MMORPG minecraft server and there are no other major biblical or Christian references anywhere in the game. The biggest flaw is that God and Jesus simply aren't Twins; twins are born at the same time and Jesus was created after God. Furthermore, Jesus absolutely never condemned God or vice-a-versa; they are never portrayed as antagonists to one another in traditional Christian teachings. If I had to guess a possibility of what the poem means, it could be a reference to Orphion and the Dark Beast. Now it is a hunch, but given that this scenario touches upon the in game lore and therefore more topical, it makes more sense than a reference to a real life religion. The first and third lines match; both are born from completely different sides of the same coin (light and dark) and they hate each other. Breaking through heaven makes more sense because the Dark Beast wanted to invade the light realm, which is considered as a sort of heaven in the Elves religion. The younger one falling could be a reference to the Dark Beast being defeated at some point, only to then rise and challenge the older one once more (in this case Orphion). Beyond the poem, there is one off-hand line from the Light Forest Ultimate Secret Discovery: "This fight... This war... It has torn us apart from what we were." This is the Dark Beast talking to Orphion; so it means that at one point in the past these two beings were once connected. So I guess it can kinda support the usage of "twin" in the title of the poem. But that's just my two cents on it; I doubt we will ever get a clear answer and I don't think there was meant to be one.

There's a reason this quest was removed from the game; because it was overdramatic. For a quest that simply unlocks a random accessory merchant, it was way too intense and over the top. As well as this, it was removed because Naragath doesn't fit very well with the current Gavel lore (yeah in the midst of the decay a giant fucking demon is destroying the forest that fits so well)

Naragath has pretty been replaced by the Parasite now, with the Parasite's nest taking the exact place of Naragath's hand. I don't think he needs to come back, and I don't think he should.

To be fair this is supposed to take place in the gavel lore rework I'm pretty sure, where we (hoped to) make Naragath an actual character with backstory and a reason as to why there's a cult dedicated to him. But it's stated that, when the Government prevented Naragath from being summoned, it's unclear as to whether or not Naragath was also banished back out of our realm, and so there's an air of mysteriousness: could Naragath still be out there? Could he still be planning something?
I think that it's better to keep that "fog of uncertainty", but if they absolutely had to answer that question it would be better done with a good and long quest (if not questline), so I could see this suggestion needing some improvements

Then you have the problem that it makes the whole lore from dialogue unreliable.
If one npc can lie, why not others? This lie is relatively clear, but others might not be.

One way I think you could combat this problem is by specifying it was a lie in a later dialogue. I’ll change something in the dialogue to specify Nagaraths lie.

He was just a generic Satan that didn’t add anything to Gavel beyond one mediocre quest and really just didn’t fit. I know this is for the Gavel lore rework, but I just don’t think Gavel needs a lore rework after the last update already did that.
