Game Mechanics New Spell System

    Hey guys so I saw an old post about wanting a new spell system an ideas. So I went to my cat, offered him some scratches and he gave me this wisdom.

    Elemental Spell Systems have been brought up now and then, but here's an idea I think is pretty good and is not that complicated.

    Once a class completes all four spells, they have to do a quest and unlock a new aspect of the game. Let's say you're next to a lake. If you press shift and right clicked on the water with a new bracelet ( note u have to right click with the bracelt instead of equipping it, tho this can be implemented as say a ring or necklace.) ull access a new menu where u can upgrade your abilities with elements.

    So let's say you want to upgrade your Vanish with a water element. First few upgrades is passive ones you just deal more water damage when out of vanish, but then u reach major upgrades. It costs a legendary or higher unidentified item and makes it more powerful. For example Vanishing with this upgrade automatically deals a area of effect water damage. Note that you can only select one element path for each spell. Warriors would probably have a lower efficiency rate

    The type of element you can upgrade spells with depends on where you are, etc mountains for lightning and valleys for earth.

    IK most peopole would say this is too complicated, but personally I think this would really help making new builds and makes playing different classes even more amazing. Plus lets admit it. We all want a reworked spell system. I know this system would take a long time to make if its actually implemented, but i think its a good idea.

    Because warriors are intended to be tanky slow melee fire builds, duh!

    Hey there, your thread has been moved to General Suggestions as it would fit here better. This isn't to say suggestions aren't fine, they belong here in General Suggestions rather than in the Wynncraft section.

    so... powders for spells? i think this is a decent idea since spells already have elemental conversion damage, and i do agree that this would add more spell complexity(something i am greatly in favor of), but maybe dont open the tree when near certain elements? an npc or new menu would work much better. this would also be a lot of work to implement for the devs, since this is a lot of new things to balance(4*5*5=100 new spell effects to worry about)

    Since Elements are already such a major factor in items and mobs, why not spells? Its cohesive from Wynn's history, and Bob technically used different elements during his battle with bak'al. Example: A vertical earth version of the ice snake ability

    pretty sure thats called uppercut, the primary Warrior offensive spell

    technically he used spells of all classes, not necessarily related to elements.

    That would also mean quite an increase in difficulty, since most content is already relatively easy with most builds
