Give centipede Explosive Impact

Scarlet Veil, the only item with explosive impact is a level 52 fabled helmet wih no stats requirement, offers 1000 health, +1 attack speed, 33% increased damage in both spell and melee, minor walk speed / main attack neutral damage, with downsides of negative defenses and negative percentage defenses.

Centipede, is level 80 legendary helmet that can only obtain from dungeon merchant that requires 45 skill points in every stats except intelligence, offers 1000 health, +2 attack speed, slight walk speed / stealing, with downsides of -1000% spell damage and some negative defenses.

Scarlet Veil: easier to obtain, don't requires stats, and don't lock you out of spell instead even boost spell damage.

Centipede: harder to obtain, requires roughly 180 skill points, and locks you out of spell.

Give centipede some love.

 

I believe only Fabled items can receive a Major ID so I don't think that will be possible
Buff, maybe, could be possible but I think that Centipede is already pretty good with +2 attack speeds, useful for cancelstacking I believe

 

an okay amount of legendaries have major ids. steamjet walkers, pandemonium, old keepers ring, procrastination, just to name a few, so it could be possible

The ID would certainly add more power to the item, yes, but it doesn't fit the item whatsoever. If Centipede needs to be rebalanced(the fact it can give +2 attack tier is way more insanely powerful than you're giving it credit for, even with all those restrictions in place) then we can rebalance it, but just slapping an unrelated Major ID onto it makes no sense whatsoever and won't actually fix any of the issues of the item.

 

As much as i like this idea since it would be really cool to have a dif helm with explosive impact, i have to agree with selv on this as centipede dosnt rlly fit and its already pretty balanced. but 100% agree we need a new helm with EI id, good post mate :D

Nah there are aton of legendaries with Major IDs, i think someone already listed some

 

I believe centipede is already used enough on many tstack builds and so adding EI to it would make it too powerful.
