Game Mechanics Other uses for The soul points besides life and teleportation

soul points are usually just used for Teleportation and not to lose your items. that's very limited uses for them well i had an idea for maybe the VIPs and higher. they can risk their Soul points for better loot like a chest reroll. to be able to reroll you cannot take anything out of the chest and for troll/farming prevention if they even take out an item and put it back it prevents someone from rerolling. they can click their soul points and open a small menu with Buffs they can risk their soul points for like a choose your buff thing and the longer and more powerful the buff the more soul points it could cost. and to prevent trolling even using it on 1 second of the buff it still takes a soul point. and soul points used this way hits you with a debuff that prevents you from earning soul points for 3 days just to really hit home the risk of useing these systems and you can't use these inside dungeons you have to use it while your outside dungeons.

Like for the chest reroll it can use the same mechanic the identifier can use except they don't identify but change the items from a certain level pool that they are from. As for the buff thing it might be harder but it might start with the menu system you already have and link it to the many buffs you have in wynncraft.

They would fit for early and late game the ability to reshuffle the chests would be neat and make you think do i want to waste a soul point to re roll this chest or use it on a higher tiered one.
As for the buff they would fit for if your having trouble on that one boss and you are always getting so close but you keep dying last second you could sacrifice soul points for a nice buff and see if you can beat the boss then.

3. Sadly even tho salted did this with champion, having VIP exclusive things breaks the MC EULA (i might be wrong correft me if I am)

5. The current Soul Point system is really bad and I do like seeing someone suggest a new system for them, however I dont understand this post nor do I think it would work ingame. Also first post, welcome to the foums mate!

 

so essentially you can burn soul points for unlimited t4 crate or chest rerolls to get mythics without actually lootrunning
cosmic armor gives 100% sp and people wear it for xp grinding a lot so chances are you can just roll a chest 14 times then grind ff for an hour and repeat

no idea how this would be more efficient but I'm sure someone's going to make up some absurdity and make it belivable
anyways I don't think this would be too balanced and the current sp system could be improved on but not in this way I guess

 

yeah but it can be like burning your spell points to use your movement ability the more you reroll the more it costs. so first reroll is 1 second is 2 next is 4 next is 6 and then 8 and so on and so fourth but as i mentioned in this soul points use like this take longer to come back than dying or teleporting does. so it makes you think do i want to spend my soul points or save up or use them and take the chance at a reroll.

 

ok so if this is for s lootbox explain to me this, why would i waste SP on a t4 lootbox when i can tp abt 12 times and get to another high lvl loot box for FREE

If this is for cosmetics why would i waste SP on a tier 1 crate just to get another common item. This idea is really flawed since it dosnt add any good buffs for using SP

Making this a VIP only feature wouldn't fly. This would be a violation of EULA, giving those who have paid an unfair advantage over others in the server.
