World Please Let Us Use Escape In The Death Boss

    Right now when you use escape on archer, or jump on a salticidae build or something like that, while on the 7th floor of the tower of ascension, it teleports you back to where you were before with the message "jumping off this tower seems like it would hurt"

    This makes sense as a challenging game mechanic for most of the rooms of floor 7, but for the malificus room and the death boss fight, this is not okay. Putting the class with the lowest defense and the highest dependence on range and movement into a small room with a boss that requires high survivability, and then not allowing it to use it's movement spell, incredibly, doesn't make for a fun boss fight! Who would've guessed?

    Just add barriers around the sides of the tower for room 8 and 10, and make the crystal move up about 10 blocks so it doesn't interrupt the escape spell and no one gets stuck inside it. It's that simple.

    That same is true for warrior's shift+uppercut and shaman flying, taking away this much movement is really a problem. I really like this boss, let me be clear, but this just ruins it for a bunch of classes, and prevents it from being one of the best bosses in the game, at least in my opinion.

    I did the death fight extremely overleveled (90) so I didn’t notice this, but it does sound very annoying
    Like if I couldn’t escape during the death metal boss fight then that would be kinda dumb, and they seem pretty similar

    At least you can actually damage the boss.
    Mage does not work if your opponent has ele defs.

    Honestly, just update the entire quest entirely. Updating the mobs and making the reward set better would work.

    I agree with the first half but Champion set is not weak at all, it does not need buffs

    I feel like mostly the quest is pretty fun and well designed, and most of the bosses are at least okay, but some of the normal rooms could use a rework, and guardian and snow bear bosses really need to be redesigned. As for the rewards, my complaint with the champion set isn't that it's bad, I just don't like the concept of it. I think ToA should work more similarly to the hive where there are different items that work for different archetypes, all of which are good, but still different. The idea of having a "generically good" set of armor that works until level 90 takes away most of the build options at that level and makes pretty much every armor piece from lv 80-90 obsolete, while also taking the fun of making builds away from a whole 10 levels of the game.
