    It shouldn’t affect player physiology any more than any other cutscenes
    Most minecraft players go “ooh I can’t see my hotbar, I must be in spectator, oh this is an RPG I must be in a cutscene.”
    There is also a cutscene in King’s recruit itself so it should all make sense

    It does though.
    I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but it does.
    I can think of at least one thing it would do, generate interest in whatever places you show off,
    The real question is how that changes what players end up doing.

    Hold up, what happened to only a test can tell? The intention isn’t as much to really direct the player, more importantly to signpost a new discovery through more impressive means (which in some cases entails hinting at activities later in that region)

    I think something small like rising up to see an overview of the town would be best. It defines the new area, it's short, and it gives a different angle to look at! Overall, I think you've got a great idea!

    i think this is an interesting idea, though i personally am a bit hesitant to say yes. i feel like this would end up feeling more intrusive than it would actually help things

    toggleable and skippable would likely take a good deal of extra work. toggleable solves the intrusiveness issue, but new players likely won't know about it, and skippable doesn't do much to change how it halts all gameplay suddenly

    im also not entirely sure how well these cutscenes would fit in wynn. i feel that suddenly being thrown into a cutscene when trying to enter a town would be too abrupt

    Things like this have knock on effects, and seeing what those are will take some play testing.

    Again, I'm not saying they will be a bad thing, just saying, they will infact exist.

    This seems like a great idea, it would take some work to implement but I think it can be done smoothly without impeding immersion. This could also include important buildings, such as the guild hub in Cinfras.

    Thanks! Also I feel like the guild hall (and maybe even Letvus airbase) should probably be included in the Cinfras cutscene

    i like this idea, i might have more friends playing wynn wit me if this was a thing!
    also a small suggestion, make the ragni cutscene unskippable for the first playthrough so that a player doesnt accidently skip it and miss out on the stuff.
    and make the ragni cutscene explain some basic mechanics
