Birthday Crate

I was thinking that it would be cool if on your birthday you got a free crate like the monthly one, if you have your account linked.

Sorry that this is short, just don't know what else to add.

 

I would say ''people would just make accounts to get free birthday rewards'' but you can't give crates to other accounts so actually this is a nice idea

 

Since you can't change your birthday without admin powers this is actually a good idea wow

 

Great Idea, hopefully it's possible to make something like this. I'd see it happen. Maybe a fun thing; you get money from grandma, maybe you get a few LE to 'buy something nice' ;) like how grandma wants us to spend money.

 

Getting LE though relates to the problem that is avoided by the crate thing, which is that people can make alt accounts to get easy money. Unlike crates, LE can be traded

 

just make LE untradeable EZ

Made a concept for how it could be ingame

It'd give you an exclusive ''Birthday crate'' which is guaranteed to grant you a random black market item. This may sound a little OP, but it's just a cosmetic at the end of the day and you only get it once a year

It could also say stuff like ''Merry craftmas!'' and ''Happy Hallowynn!'' if you set your birthday as those days

The birthday reward would also be advertised in the notification informing players of forum linking.

 

I'm amazed that I was able to predict special crates with better items in them literally days before an event using that idea was announced

 

In order to prevent people from farming using alt accounts, change it to the "Anniversary Crate" which you get a year, 2 years, 3 years etc. after you join the server (e.g. If you joined Wynncraft in November 3 2020, you will get such a crate on November 3 2021, 2022, 2023 etc.)

 

There is no point in "farming" cosmetics on alt accounts, as you are getting untradable account-specific items. And even then, the anniversary crate could be "farmed" the same way as the birthday one.

 

Cool idea. It works since you cant trade Cosmetics and can't change you birthday. I would love to see something like this, maybe with cosmetics like a party hat xD
