World Legendary Island Fast Travel Or Seaskipper

Mostly just an inconvenience to me at least but I think there should be a fast travel of sorts to Legendary Island. Unlike Qira Hive or the Tower of Ascension where it can be gotten to pretty quickly from Lusuco or Thanos, Legendary Island and Corkus City are actually pretty far apart comparatively and it isn't exactly fast to get across them since either you can travel across Corkus Island or follow the coast to get to Legendary Island. Either way, it is a bit annoying to me at least and it seems rather weird to me when the thing has a bank, potion shop, etc. and a port but nothing like a Seaskipper. Whether it be a Seaskipper or a fast travel that is granted upon completion of a quest, I think there should be something of the sort there. If it was a quest, it could be Fruma related as the proximity of Legendary Island and Dr. Legendary to that of Fruma isn't far and we already know that there is Fruman meddling in Corkus so Legendary Island wouldn't be a far fetch to have something going on there.

 

The problem with making it a Seaskipper fast travel is that level 20 players would go and do the Legendary Challenge

 

you can't even attempt the challenge until you're level like 80 iirc, it just kicks you out

 

How about "Dr. Legendary allows the champions to use his newest invention - a launchpad that takes you to Corkus and vice versa?
It would be only usable after you do Li at least once.

 

I think a possible name for it would be the LSS Legendcrosser (totally not a reference to the Seaskipper or Wavebreaker) and would be unlocked after TFF2, since I think the recommended level is 95+ for the Legendary Challenge.

True. Although one thing that might be a problem is that a new Lv 35 player, like you said, could see a fast travel option to Corkus and go there, and then as soon as they step out of the city, they get shredded by robots. I don't really know if there could be a major port that could work for a Corkus fast travel option, however.

Well, yes, but Jofash docks, even though they're the highest level Seaskipper destination by far, are actually relatively safe, as there are no particularly dangerous enemies.

 

Legendary Island is also safe "as there are no particularly dangerous enemies"--until the player enters the building and starts the challenge. Similarly, Jofash Docks is safe until the player passes through the gates to the Sky Islands.

 

Really just make it a seaskipper option from Corkus/Llevigar

Just have the option be at every major port(Nemract/Selchar/Llevogar)
Considering that there is a literal option to sail to Dead Island I think this would be fine
