New Id Idea- +/- X Enabled Powder Slots.

fairly self-explanatory, would function the same as the attack speed id, but for powder slots. how this would work. basically the thing on the item that says how many powder slots there are, would be changed to powders enabled. each item would be able to have a max of 6 powderas added (i think thats the most any item has but could be wrong here) but each wepaon would have a restriction on how many you could actually enable. powders can be enabled/disabled at a powder master. if you have 2 powders active, then take of a +1 enabled powder slots item, one of your powders would be automatically disabled (the least recent one you enabled) and you would have to re-equip the armour and re-visit the powder master to get it re-enabled. this mainly so players can have more powders on their items for their build, or get powder specials on their item that only has 1 slot by default, if they are willing to potentially have to sacrifice a good armour from their build for it. please give me your thoughts on this:D!

 

Ice Bear doesn't think this will work. First of all the post is confusing and it took a couple of reads to understand the idea and also some items are balanced around the fact that you can't powder them. Ice Bear says pure with some power slot armors would be broken.

 

Maybe add an id that increases/decreases the number of powder slots an item has. It might be a cool thing to add to certain items.

 

I think that id on crafting ingredients would be nice. You get to finally craft good weapons with actual rainbow damage.

(Currently crafted has only 3 slots, which means you can only assign two elements if you want powder special. Unless you put powder in ingredient directly, which isnt that good except for mage)

 

Yeah, unless the id were to only affect the item itself and not your currently equipped weapon, it would be really, really broken. Something with a high spell percent like pure, or that has a really high attack speed could easily become utterly broken by only a few slots. Pure with a single tier six powder would be quite broken. The Nothing would be far worse. If you could get a handful of slots, most weapons with super fast attack speed would be similarly imbalanced.

 

ok. like i said, clearly 6 is the highest. no evidence against it.

 

what but those are 18 slots

 

I mean you also have singu with the 2nd most powder slots in the game with 15 powder slots. Im pretty sure all items have 1-3 powder slots with the occasional ones with ones higher than 10 like these 2.
