Game Mechanics Banning Trade Market Advertisements

So, take a look at the picture below, those low level scrolls. What are they?
Yep, full of "Join AVO <mythic>" items, do you think that the trade market is meant to be used this way?
If not, I think so too, so guilds including: AVO, kyn and LXA. By the time this thread was sent, there are around 3-4 pages of such advertisement all flowing and flooding the market, hence causing great disruption in trying to search what one wants to search. (Props to LXA for having a more creative naming.)

This isn't the first day that AVO has been doing this, and I think that advertisements should be disallowed in trade market.

It's a pretty scummy thing to do, not to mention flooding the market.

Whats scummy is when you shit on a guild for petty issues that basically don't impact day-to-day life its that trivial, constantly talk trash about AVO continuously and their members (unprovoked), and create this kind of argument?

As you can clearly see in the trade market search filter, you can filter it to show Mythics ONLY, and go ahead and buy them if they piss you off that much, only an LE a day to keep the crows away.

EDIT; You go on to say how this is "flooding the market" yet you don't make your case any better by doing the exact same thing AVO is apparently doing by trying to discourage people from joining avo by flooding TM with "Do not join avo" items LOL??

The only reason I could see this being enforced is if people were putting links in their crafted lore, which isn't happening AFAIK

So I don't really feel like this is necessary

 

You should be allowed to put 1 ad on the TM and that's it. Flooding it is annoying.

I once used the Market Stall feature to find NOTG parties but I don't see that as bad tbh

With all due respect, you literally look like you're saying ''yeah we spammed the trade market with ads, go and pay us if you want to get rid of them'' which is literally holding the cleanness of the TM at ransom. Sure, OP is a hypocrite for doing it themselves, but asking for people to buy your ads away is just not right.

 

I took it down after 8 hours and never did it again lol. How dedicated do a wynncrafter have to be to dig a week old thing

Ice Bear doesn't mind guild advertisements however, if there isn't already a rule for this spamming the market with useless items should be punishable. Ice Bear says this rule keeps the trade market clean and is easily enforceable.

 

I don't have a problem with mass scale trade market spam being banned(although moderators quite literally took them down manually, which would lead me to think it's already not allowed), but I think outside of very rare mass spam, a few ads per guild are at most a minor inconvenience that don't have any real impact.

 

We aren't holding anyone at ransom, that is up to you to decide to remove, no one is forcing you to take them down like I said.

 

I think it's petty that you need to advertise your guild this way but it's not that hard to avoid so I don't really care if this ends up being banned or not

it's our members own decision whether they want to put it on the TM or not, we aren't forced or required to, but your own reaction just makes it more entertaining and gives a new purpose.

 

I find it a bit annoying/silly, but if I actually cared I'd put up my own with "Don't join AVO" or "AVO SUX" or "Join KLG" or something silly. As long as they don't flood the market with them, it's a piece of paper. Why bother?
