Dungeons Remove The Hanging Man Cutscene In Infested Pit

Pretty self-explanatory, the cutscene is in both versions of the dungeon and serves no purpose but to waste your time and spawn a miniboss everyone just walks past anyway.

Please remove it, thanks.

 

Maybe it could be more like something like a World Event? The first time you do IP you see the Hanging Man, and the first time you do CIP you see the Hanging Man get corrupted. It still adds some story to the game, and can also serve as a solution for people who want to grind IP and CIP.

 

The issue is it breaks whenever theres more then one person.

 

I do agree that this is a good story element and adds a lot of flavor to the dungeon (making this the most “immersive” dungeon besides FF and GG imo). However, the first time I ran into it the only thing that I could tell was happening was that I suddenly couldn’t move anymore. Since the man is on the ceiling he can be hard to miss and I didn’t think that the chat would be important inside a dungeon. So kind of a mixed opinion on my part

 

It doesn't add any story at all though? Hey Adventurer, bad guy is bad, I bet you can't beat her. *Dies* It doesn't do anything except tell us stuff we already know and waste time.

 

Eh, sounds fine to me but then again haven't seen it.
