World More World Boss Ideas And Boss Discoveries

If you don't know what a world boss is, look up the Far From the Roots discovery.
Now, to make World Bosses actually worth doing, they would have their own discovery, called a Boss Discovery, and give one powerful item that can only be gotten one per profile.
Boss Discoveries would be logged onto your Quest Book like all your discoveries and would give certain lore about most Bosses. There are only going to be discoveries for World, Raid, Dungeon, Quest, LI, and Altar Bosses. Other's like Pride Male Lion and Vandal Leader Randal would not be included.
Anyway here are the ideas:

Spoiler: Wynn Plains: Tarantula Skon

Discovery Lore: A dangerous corrupted spider, it was named after the person who first discovered it; and it's first victim. It has an ability to mimic the looks of other species, and lure them into it's den to eat.
Location: Found in it's den near IP, first seen as an NPC called "Tasim?" Who goes into the den. There would be dialogue when you see this:
Is that Tasim? You should follow him to see where he's going.
When you reach the arena, black smoke covers Tasim and he turns into Skon.
Cosmetics: Custom spider model
Stats: beserk ai, fast speed, low damage, 1000 health, level 20
Elements: Decent earth defense, massive fire weakness, small earth fire air damage
Spells: Web Shooter, Charge, Arrow Storm
Special Spell: Ascend & Descend: Skon can go into the ceiling and then come back down, knocking away anybody who's nearby.
Combos:
75%: Web -> Arrow Storm
25%: Ascend -> Arrow Storm x3 -> Descend
Drop: Arrow Proof Tunic (you still take full knockback from projectiles)

Spoiler: Nesaak Forest: Freezing Wraith

Discovery Lore: This vengeful spirit was once under the power of the Twains, but has been haunting the forest ever since their fall. He can summon icy winds that can cause temperatures to drop below zero.
Location: He can be found in a cave under a giant tree in Nesaak. To open it, you need to get dynamite from Lusuco and blow up the stump. The floor of the arena is partially made of ice.
Cosmetics: Invisible Wither Skeleton, purple tunic and leggings, ghost head
Stats: burst ranged ai, slow walk speed, slow fire rate, decent damage, 20k health, level 50
Elements: Decent fire low water defense, Moderate thunder weakness, air water damage
Spells: Slowness II, Teleport, Push
Special Spells:
Frost Fire: Summons a 3x3 area of soul fire that slows players and does moderate damage
Sub Zero Winds: Shoots a gust of winds forward, freezing you for 1 second and giving you slowness V for 3 seconds
Icicle Crash: Shakes the cave, causing explosive icicles that fall from the ceiling
Combos:
50%: Slowness -> Push -> Teleport
20%: Frost Fire x3
20%: Teleport -> Winds -> Teleport -> Winds
10% (ult): Icicle -> Frost Fire -> Winds Teleport (repeats 3 times) -> Push -> Teleport -> Explode (used only in this combo)
Drop: Book of the Winds: gives permanent 10% KB resist (if that's actually bad then it gets removed), 20% walk speed, and 10% xp, gather xp, and loot bonus.

Spoiler: Kander Forest: Eye of Cartulu

Discovery Lore: Thought to be just myths and legends, this disembodied eye is the creation of runic and decay magic.
Location: Is found in a secret cave in the Lexdale Flesh Pits, and is opened after killing all three Taskmasters.
Cosmetics: Custom eye skin (phase 1), Custom Eye mouth skin (phase 2)
Stats: Melee ai: Slow speed, Decent damage, 2 phases: 80k and 30k health, level 78.
Elements: All element damage, moderate water thunder weakness
Spells:
All phases: Flamethrower, Heal, Push
Phase 1: Charge, Arrow Storm, Pull
Phase 2: Heavy Charge, Teleport, Explode
Special Spells:
All phases:
Disintegration Laser: shoots a large laser forward for 3 seconds, dealing massive damage
Servants of the eye: Summons 4 small eyes with 1000 health to pester the target
Phase 2: V.O.R.E.: Pulls in the target and attempts to eat it. If it the target is close enough for it to succeed, it heals 5% of your current health.
Combos:
All phases:
Push -> Flamethrower
Phase 1:
50%: Charge x3
50%: Charge -> Arrow Storm
Phase 2:
50%: Heavy Charge x5
25%: Pull -> Servants x2
15%: Teleport -> Explode -> VORE
10% (ult): Servants -> Teleport -> Heavy Charge x7 -> Explode -> VORE push (repeats 3 times) -> Heal
Drop: Terra-Helm

Also, we already have some lovecraftin gods, and one of them may or may not involve a giant eye, I don't think we should include a none cannon one.

All of that being said, I really don't like the mini boss thing anyways. Mainly because there unannounced boss fights, meaning it can catch players off gruad if they are unprepared, and the second reason is because we already have boss alters.

Boss alters are litterally just the mini boss system thing, but they aren't unannounced.

 

Eye of Cthulhu is a Terraria boss tho

 

Cthulhu is gotten from Lovecraft, which is public domain, they can't copy right it.
And yes, Terraria didn't come up with cthulhu or the eye or cthulhu.
